The worst part about the Witches and Wieners dlc is tht everything was either in the game already, or just a reskin just like every other dlc. Even the witches' broom is just a broom model replacing the Specter.
That's incorrect. None of the Witches and Wiener, Steelport Gangs, Genki Girls, and Horror Pack data was already in the vanilla game. All the meshes, textures, and config were added in just three months ago in a patch.

The Hotdog was, the ninja was, I don't remember if the halo was, but really, how hard is it to add a halo. Still, these dlcs have no substance to them. It honestly feels incredibly lackluster and not worth the money.
I can't imagine people buying this DLC outside some bundle, it's so bad.
I can't imagine people buying this DLC outside some bundle, it's so bad.
I bought the season pass DLC because it had a few new story missions. Literally all the other DLC only has a few clothes or new vehicles and weapons that are minor variations on vanilla content. For example, the Special Ops Vehicle Pack has vehicles that are in the main game by default and have no new features or stat differences; the only change is that they're purple. The only one that looks like it adds good new content is the Funtime! Pack.

It looks like they are trying to make some kind of Sims from this game, I wonder what will be next - IKEA furniture pack for your cribs?
The Hotdog was, the ninja was
No, the hotdog and the ninja suit were not in the vanilla game. They were in Saints Row 2 but that's a completely different format. EDIT: And if you mean the npc models, those aren't clothing at all. NPCs are one big mesh that contains both the clothing and the npc body itself and not actual clothing that can be worn by the character. The dlc items were newly created for the DLC. This includes the ninja suit, hotdog, steelport gangs, etc.

I need to thank you for Buddy Oleg mod IdolNinja, I like rolling with the big guy sometimes and getting bitch-slapped to death after accidental friendly fire got annoying after the 10th time.
Haven't you explained this before? I distinctly remember this conversation happening already.
It's a common misconception. Every Joe User off the street seems to think that we can magically press a button and they can somehow wear all the npc clothes. I had to add it to a sticky FAQ on our mod request forum since it was getting asked constantly. I think the reason it keeps coming up is that the SR2 engine was completely different from SRTT. In SR2, npcs were constructed with actual separate clothing pieces. These pieces could also be worn by the player and we were able to add a ton of them into the game to use. Volition has gone on record stating that the reason they changed this for SRTT is that tracking npcs wearing 5-6 clothing items was a strain on the engine and by making the npc+clothes all one big lump they could have 3x as many onscreen at once.
My worse fear is that they'll withhold the Horror costumes pack until Halloween. Unreasonable to think, but considering how abstract the release schedule for this DLC has been... Still, nice to know that there isn't too much of the DLC Nemisis116 got early left to release. Besides the horror costume items, I think that leaves us with the Genki Girl vehicles left to go? (Why the heck wasn't that included with Genkibowl VII...)
Jesus, explains why SR2 runs like a fat kid with a limp.
It being one of the worst porting jobs known to mankind doesn't help either. I prefer SRTT for the simple reason that it's actually playable, features be damned if the core gameplay is better and isn't impeded by performance akin to a quadriplegic fat dog.
Jesus, explains why SR2 runs like a fat kid with a limp.
It's more of a problem with how the SR2 engine streams assets from disk into memory rather than a matter of npcs. Keep in mind that SR2 ran just fine on console.

I'm getting pings of ~110 with my friend and driving shotgun and accurately shooting anything is impossible.

Saints row 2 is so much more fun than sr3, shame it's so laggy and buggy and the controls are awful The ragdoll physics are much more wacky, making running people over much more fun [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/558692204780352679/5F853CE5779173527F6747D6C7761FE55A436E3B/[/t] You can use the objects in the world as weapons [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/558692741790240417/905E196F1D90A6E3B565826E84E0534A27268AFD/[/t] The npc's are more agressive, often starting gangwars (that was added to sr3 with a mod though). Also there are A LOT of agressive pimps for some reason, fighting them is really fun [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/558692741790243375/CB98B258707C04C5F368BA820DF7D60A990E3985/[/t] And the world is much more interesting and has a lot of locations you can visit, like this meat factory I just found by an accident (judging by the surroundings its a location of a mission, but hey at least you can visit them) [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/558692741790361760/4FFC216B9D822940E89AD6132077CBC55A422513/[/t] Also the sidemissions are much more fun. My favorites are probably the fuzz and bodyguard ones
SR2's world was dull as fuck, everything was so bland and ugly, NPCs all felt like robots put there to give the illusion of a city, since all of the animations were so abysmally bad and every part of the city felt exactly the same, I still couldn't tell where I am in the city even after playing it for a while.

Saints Row 3 had like no landmarks or remarkable structures at all. All I can remember is the Saints Tower.
Does anyone know how to get DLCs any other way than steam? Because.. well.. Saints Row 3 is appearanly blcoked in my region, yet I find it commonly on retail sellers :v:

It had the mall (which was fucking dumb cause it had all the not shit clothing stores and you had no way of knowing about it until the last part of the game) and that's really all that was memorable and that was just because the cops in the mall were different, had different cars and there were some cool stores in it.
I still get lost in saints row 3, in saints row 2 I know the map like the back of my hand.
Can you wear the armor in the warrior pack independently of the helmets, or is it a one-piece thing?
I believe so
That answers nothing :colbert: Are clouds fluffy or cotton candy? I believe so.
The suit is one big piece of clothing, and the helmet is separate.

She died, boss blames/threatens Donnie because of what happened to Lin(other words, the boss thinks Lin's death was his fault).
I am not sure if this is an easter egg or a bug, but every time you start the "bank error in your favor" mission there is a guy at the entrance proposing marriage to a lamp [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/558692741818949580/D4BEBA8F0AFBA1F0B02BFF292B87634ED179C11A/[/t] This guy
Can you wear the armor in the warrior pack independently of the helmets, or is it a one-piece thing?
Yes, you can have the helmets separately from the suits. Unfortunately the only armor set that is divided into head, upper and lower body is the warrior princess armor and even then the lower part is under suits for some reason. But the short answer to your question is you can wear the helmets separately.
And SR2 had landmarks?
The mall. The abandoned drive-in theater. Stilwater University. Phillips Building. The Parthenon and Greek theater replicas. The Old Stilwater ruins. Stilwater Caverns. The Saints Row Church Memorial. Just to name a few. Did you ever take the time to explore the city?
