;36801307']Hey guys,
A friend of mine has a Mac and hopes to be able to play SR3.
His video cards are:
AMD Radeon HD 6750M
and
Intel HD Graphics 3000
Is this sufficient enough to run the game?
OSX isn't a supported OS for it. So he'll have to do the equivalent of using WINE with Linux, which is buggy and isn't guaranteed to work.
The Alien VTOL breaks if you look at it funny, which is hilarious if you're in flight mode.
Realized something when I was playing.
Mission when Killbane is being interviewed by Jane, he mentions something called Killbanes Crunch Camp. I haven't looked at the subtitles, but the alliteration (Killbane's Krunch Kamp) makes it an obvious KKK joke. :v:
Female 01 is pretty great in my opinion. She delivers a pretty good performance, it's the right mix of funny and badass.
Pairing male 3 with a fedora, hipster glasses and the hollywood beard makes some kind of botched Ali G.
I think Male 01 (Troy Baker) and all the female voices need to come back.
Fun fact: The female Hispanic voice from SR2 is the only voice to make a return into 3.
I want that autotuned voice that they were going to add into SR3 before it was cut.
I'd even pay for it, if it was a DLC. They should do that.

But, that would take actually effort instead of just reskining existing cars and shit.

I assume the voice was already done though, they simply just took it out of the game before release.

What was is, the British male voice?
He was Male 1 in SR2

What about Male 02?
What was is, the British male voice?

3 is British voice I think. And I thought Male 2 and Female 3 were the two voices that returned in SR3. But they need any kind of Asian voice in SR4.
Also on graphics card, Intel is kinda like the Integrated video cards, it may run it, but its not recommended. You might need one that has dedicated memory(your friend) and is either AMD or NVIDIA.
I beat the game a few days after I got it on the summer sale, 99% co-op with a friend, but I felt like trying to make Dante from Devil May Cry. The thought sparked from the Nyte Blayde DLC.
I ran into a wall trying to kill myself because I didn't like how the character turned out.

I constantly get bikes jammed into the draw bridges when they are up

Same. I unlocked that bike that's in the cyber trail blazing and the first time I rode it I tried jumping a bridge. It phased through it, launched me off, and was trapped under it. I had to leap to the other side and blow it up.
[del]I think I made a fairly decent uncle phil replica, he's a bit slim though[/del]
I accidentally made someone who, on later inspection, I realised looks a bit like uncle phil

Got the game during the sale, loving everything. I just hate how hard it is to lose the cops/other gangs...
No matter what I've done, I haven't been able to play SR3 ever since I've gotten my new computer. It always crashes after the intro ads for AMD and crap. Is there a file I need to download or something, because there's always this one file that never gets downloaded and fails to whenever I try to do the validation thing.
there's always this one file that never gets downloaded and fails to whenever I try to do the validation thing.
That's just the CEG (custom executable generation) DRM that's part of the Steamworks suite. Only certain titles use it like anything by Valve, Space Marine, SRTT, etc. Everyone will always download new exes every time they validate (it's simply creating new ones locked to the user account.)
This particular DRM does have issues with AMD Bulldozer cpus though. Most mobo manufacturers have updated their BIOS to fix the issue, so that's a good first troubleshooting step if you own one. There is also a temp fix which is an app you run every time your start your PC. I can't remember the details, but you should be able to find it by googling "Orochi-CEG".

Just enter any store then exit that store again

You need to own the store first.
doing a pacifist playthrough on sr2. gamertag is rebecca blaak (cheats)
I find is upsetting how many songs were in Saints Row 1, then you compare them to how many songs were in 2 and 3.
I think 1 outdoes 2 and 3 combined in terms of how many songs it has.

1 might have had more songs, but 2 had better song choice. At least in my opinion. The only feature that 1 has that should have stayed was the fact you could add your own songs from your Xbox 360 music playlists. Why would they take that out? It was pretty awesome.
Godamn, when's that music replacing mod thing coming out. Hey Idol, didn't you say there's a way to do it without using the program you / someone else was working on?
My hands are kind of tied until Mini finishes deciphering the file format that wwise packs the songs into into. Once he gets me that I can create all the scripts to do the file manipulation and table edits to automate the process.
Here's the current guide. It's not really difficult to follow or anything, just time consuming:
I wished there was a way to replay old missions (the non-activities) without resorting to save files.
There is if you get the Mission Replay mod, I suppose
There is if you get the Mission Replay mod, I suppose
Mission Replay is a core part of the Gentlemen of Steelport compilation that includes many other enhancements and bug fixes. You can always grab the latest build from my site in the Downloads section:
Ugh, this guide:
http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/index.php?threads/custom-radio-stations-guide.2/
Is kind of irritatingly written. It tends to omit key details. When it says things like "pack the files" it doesn't say how to actually use the tools, and when I boot up wwise, some of the things i'm supposed to do are missing. Kind of confusingly written. I followed it to the letter to the best of my abilities and I still cannot get this bloody thing to work.
I've been trying to get this working for like 2 hours now. I guess i'll just wait for IdolNinja's replacer *sigh*
You just need to understand the basics of how the modding tools work. Give this a read and it should clarify everything:

Damn, Johnny was such a boss.
I mean i've done all the time consuming stuff like converting all of my files and changing the durations in milliseconds and stuff, but I still can't tell how i'm meant to pack this shit up since the way i've done it just produces silence.
[editline]20th July 2012[/editline]
Well it's nearly 3am and i've been at this for hours, so i'm gonna go to bed, re-install Saints Row 3 tommorow and start the entire fucking process all over again.
Of course, the fact that the stream and latency settings are missing in wwise for some reason might have an impact:
Weird. No idea why you would be missing those options. Are you using the wwise version we have stickied at the top of the tools forum?
http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/index.php?forums/tool-releases.6/
Only that specific version of wwise will work with the guide. Newer versions changed some things and have issues.
