He then ducked into an alley and pulled out the predator missiles and shot me down. I bailed out and tried to punch him to death, but he had his flame SMGs. He set me on fire, I ran into him, and we both burned to death at the same instant.
Hey there, I've bought this game not long ago and I'm running into some low fps issues here. I was supposed to be playing this with my friends but I'm unable to with about 20 fps on the lowest graphic settings possible on DirectX 9. Any help would be appreciated.
Here's some info you may need:
CPU: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 810 Processor
GPU: GeForce GTX 550 Ti
RAM: 4GB

Do you have the latest drivers? iirc older drivers seem to dislike SR3 a bit, and see if you have anything forcibly activated on your graphics panel. Also DX10/11 mode actually runs faster if you have the OS and card compatible for it, also the biggest frame rates killers are Shadow Res, Lightning Quality and SSAO.

Go DX11, better performance. Check NVIDIA control panel and turn off AA and shit, DL beta drivers etc.

Am I the only one who thinks the Saints Row 4 description at the beginning of this thread sounds absolutely awful? I understand the game doesn't take itself seriously, like ever, but the zombies sort of bugged me in three and I have a feeling Aliens are just gonna piss me off. Anyone share my sentiments?

Crazy shit is for them apparently. I mean, if it is a little more seriously, like SR2 level, then it might do well. But chances are, they will increase the batshit things from SR3.

Most likely, they won't bring him back. In fact, they will probably kill off Shaundi(if being heroes is canon) or kill off the last SR2 saint(if city-state is canon) first. Hell, they could have made Trouble with Clones be about stopping a certain traitor to the Saints, but they instead made it about some fan who cloned a saint.
Remember, SR4 will be more batshit insane in, well, basically everything.

What the fuck is everyone talking about, they already brought Gat back, only he's a brute, but I don't think that would be hard to fix, considering you can get a plastic operation that completely changes your gender, race and voice in like 5 minutes.

It's really laggy for a lot of people, even when their (both players') latency is low. Makes it unplayable for me and a friend who bought it just to play co-op.

True, but he'd still need something done about his "dumb muscle" intelligence (maybe Oleg and Kinzie can work up some science to help with that), plus there still might be the "he's just not the same" factor in it still technically being a clone of him.
Unless its revealed that the old folks at Eye for an Eye help in bringing back Gat's spirit to Tag's body.
