From when I read the SR3 guide book, it said that playboy wanted a one time drawing of nude Shaundi for their 'Virtual Vixens' edition of the magazine. They tosses it into SR3 as a easteregg

So I was replaying SR2 and 3 after seeing an LP of the first game on Something Awful's LP Archive. While I still hold onto the opinion that SR2 was the best in the series, this second playthrough of SR3 made me realize that it wasn't as bad as I first thought. So I threw Volition a bone and bought some of the cosmetic DLC. And then a few days afterwords I got a coupon for a discount on SR3 DLC in my Steam Inventory. No good deed goes unpunished, I guess.

Actually he did change a little in that nobody takes a shit on him quite like in 2. I don't think we had an underdog in 3 the way we had Pierce in 2, and to be honest I like him better when he's respected. He seems more like a real character and less like a Jar-Jar.

Racial diversity in Saints Row.
I love this game.
There's some things that are annoying in the game. Missions seem to just end, there's no cutscene or anything. I'm doing a mission now called "pimps up hos down" and it cut from getting in a van to waking up drugged and naked in some place with no explanation of what happened between.

I guess it's overall laziness.
The thing I hated the most was the mission where you get to chose between [sp]blowing up the syndicate's tower or keeping it.[/sp] When they said keeping it I really got exited, then it turns out I don't get the tower at all. I can't even enter it! All that happened was that it changed colour from red to pink/purple. (Minus the extra xp or whatever the hell it was.)
are there any preformance patches around? I have 4 gigs of RAM yet everything is still choppy outside.
Just did the first STAG level, there was some horrendous slow down, any more and it would have stopped.

They explicitly say why you get in the van and where you're going, and you hear part of the trip during the load screen.

Pay attention next time, the loading screen plays audio that specifically covers the trip from one to the other.

I sit quite far away from my t.v and had the sound down quite low. I can hear what the characters are saying and also have subtitles on, so I know why I got in the van and where it was going, but didn't hear clearly what the noises were, I assumed it was just glitching or something. What do they say?

Well if you know why you're getting in the van, you could probably infer why you were drugged, but:
[sp]During the load you can hear a Morningstar member at the front of the vehicle say, "When we get the new girls, ain't my fault if they don't perform.", implying they'll probably treat you like shit. Someone steps out, walks around to the back, opens it, punches you, and injects you with something while saying "Long as we get paid, don't care who owns 'em." The injection was to keep you docile long enough to actually get you in.[/sp]

Oh ok. I just got PS+ and Saints Row 2 is free on there. Should I stop playing SR3 now and play SR2 first or does it not matter?

Anyone got into the modding scene here? Its an amazing scene with some amazing mods. I've been trying my hand at modding and created a super power stungun which instakills tanks, fires at the fastest speed and is dual wieldable. Its not very fair to the police...

IMO the [sp]Daedalus[/sp] made up for what was basically [sp]a glorified quicktime event[/sp]. But yeah, I was expecting something much better.

Yeah, playing on PC is a whole other experience thanks to Gentlemen of Steelport.
I might get this when I can upgrade my computer further. Still runs way better than Saints Row 2 though (although a dry turd could run better than SR2 honestly)
