Cold Fear doesn't have co-op, it sounds more like Resident Evil Dead Aim.

Yes thats it. Thank you I forgot it was Resident Evil Game.
That box art looks familiar. I think that's the one.
I'm asking because:
- I want my niece to play it at some point.
- That game pissed me off as a kid and I made a vow that one day I would come around and kick its ass.
The game definitely had some tricky places. If your niece ends up liking it, they made ones for 4th, 5th and 6th grade, too. I've got all but 6th grade, they're all the same style of game so she shouldn't be disappointed if ends up playing the others.

I was thinking of that, but the "PS2" part threw me off.
Okay, lets see here.
PS2 game
Flying
Semi-steampunk theme
mild anime-ish looking characters
Bizarre weapons like "Dog missiles" that were aspect seeking missiles that chomped the shit out of things and Cross missiles that drilled into stuff and things along those lines.
A demo was included on a compilation disk way back then in like... Playstation Magazine or something.
Found it. SkyGunner.

Holyshit I do not remember it being that anime styled.
Why does everyone have a tail. Thats definitely the game though.
Alrighty. It was a PC game, Disney-based. I seem to remember you played as mickey mouse and you explored a haunted house. Can't seem to find it on Google, though.
Whats the game where you're in a room, maybe in an apartment, with at least 2 characters, a man and a woman who talk and they have reactions based upon what you do?
Facade
Yes, thank you all I could think of was Mirage.
Hard to describe, but its a futuristic sort of jet fighter game, but not extremely far in the future. It's similar along the lines of Hawx, and I think it was released early to mid 2000. It had aircraft carrier sort of flying ships, and you had to at times fly inside them and destroy them or something like that.
That's about all I can remember.
This was a game where you played as an asian country and you had to fight others, you assigned workers to a task and the only way you could create soldiers was by sending your villagers to the acamedy to get trained. you could go into other places and mine there too. strategy i'm sure of.
Sounds like Battle Realms.
Knytt Stories: Don't Eat The Mushroom?
Yeah, that's the one. Thanks!

All I can think of is Crimson skies but I might be wrong.
All I can think of is Crimson skies but I might be wrong.
No it's not Crimson Skies.
Game i'm thinking of is set in the future.
Also it's an arcade sort of game, not simulator.
Fuck I wish I could remember the name.

What console? What perspective did you control the fighter from? Do you remember the names of the factions or any of the aircraft? Weapon names/functionality? Details like that will help.
Guess I will try my luck here.
Platform: DOS/early Windows.
It was a first person shooter with graphics and gameplay similar to Wolfenstein 3D. (Think Wolfenstein in a Doom world maybe?). I know it was not Doom, quake or Wolfenstein.
You were in a facility/tall building and each level was a new floor in said facility/building. Every time you enter a new level, the loading screen would show an image of the building, indicating which floor you were on.
I remember some monsters that looked like big trolls or something and some electric fences/force fields you could turn on and off. It was possible to lure the enemies into the fence and turn it on to kill them without wasting ammo.
The last thing I remember is that you could find secrets in the walls, just like Wolfenstein. In (at least) one of these secret rooms I found a (two-headed?) ogre. I think it was shooting fireballs after me.
Guys, I don't suppose you know this one, but uh, I remember this game in which you played as some biker and the gameplay was really similiar to carmageddon, there were lots of people you could kill and the game levels were filled with white fog everywhere. Can't really remember anything else.

It's been like, 6 years since I last played it, so I cant remember too many details. But you controlled the aircraft from third person. It's difficult to remember the factions or aircraft.
I also think that you had other planes to support you in most missions, I think.

Thank you, but I do not think it is the right one. However, you made me remember that the game I am looking for used modern weapons (guns), so it must be some modern era mutant shooter game.
You got the graphics spot on at least :)
This isn't a game I've forgotten, I just want to know if someone can identify it based on this gif

This would make for a good fast thread.
"Can you identify the game above?"

Ah, ok. I just saw it in someone's signature on a different forum and it looked kind of interesting.

I'm sure it's been done many times. And it usually gets derailed by people who just want to post their own old/obscure game and don't want to bother guessing anyone else's.

Are you thinking Bikez II?
White fog? People you could kill? Definitely sounds like Silent Hill to me!

the one i played was 2d? It was sorta like age of empires but maybe had emperor or dragon in the title
So, there's was this top view, "free roam" space shooter game for PC where you fight against meteors, centipede-like aliens shit and among other things.
The main thing of the game was a flail that your ship could actually use to ram your enemies, It's range were quite great tho.
Yeah, the signature was that giantic flail attached to your ship.
Does anyone remember that game? Played It In the 2001's.
Fucking loved that game, too bad It was a demo.
