I remember an old PC game from my childhood. It was a old semi-racing game that used old classic hotrods, you could have several Module-type gadgets mounted on the back of your car ( Chopper blades, firehose, etc) and played in a non-linear fashion. i think it was called "Wacky Wheels", but I couldnt find anything on it, as no wikipedia article exists, and no videos were ever made of it, atleast, no videos I could find. EDIT: I re-looked it up on the same site that I got it from (Comcast Games on Demand) and found out it was Wild Wheels, however, there is yet to be a article or video on it methinks.
Myst?
Thanks, it was the sequel to Myst, Riven.
Blood and mud, I think? EDIT: might be the endless war series. The latter also has Vietnam and sci-fi scenarios.
It was Endless War, thank you.
Mass Effect.
ah of course! thanks!
It was this game kind of like Psychonauts were you go into peoples minds or something and it was a RPG, The first mission is your inside this blonde girls head and everything is made out of money. I would really like to know the name since I use to love this game
How old is that game?
How old is that game?
It was on the PS2 if I remember correctly.
Trying to remember a game that I saw on Facepunch. There was one facepunch server, all the textures/models were generated by algorithms on start, really small exe, had boats and planes and islands and it was freeware. [editline]2nd September 2012[/editline] Found it, it was 'A New Zero'
Alright this is probably an extremely vague description, but I can't do much better. It's a Sci-fi RTS Sidescroller where you fight aliens i think. The name possibly has fortress in it. it's a flash game and it has its own website, although it might be on newgrounds or something. I'm asking for a friend, he found the game ages ago and he forgot what the name was. It has proper voice acting too.
Age of War?
It was a ps2 game. There were, like, huge conveyor belt things. You had to stop the conveyor belts to get some item, and then you had to go along the railings at the top, and then you left through the door onto the next level, and went up a slope to a different area. But the item was right at the top of these conveyor belts. Sorry for the bad description.
Apologies for the bump, but I feel this thread needed it. This was a flash game, birds-eye view, and you were in a van on a highway being chased by the police, that's pretty much it.

It was a PS2 game. All I remember is it was a combat racing game set in japan, and there was a mission where you had to chase an armored car followed by Yakuza. As the game progressed you could get more cars.

I vaguely remember watching my brother play a desert-storm (maybe?) themed game on the computer, I think maybe it was an FPS? That's the best I can recall. It was an old MS DOS game
I remember a game for the old mac, it was a point and click game really colorful and you where following a bone or rather trying to find it on every screen if i am not mistaken,i remember 2 screens one infront of a house where the bone was in the ground and one up in some trees where i think the bone was in some kind of nest. no one will ever get this :(
I used to have a game for either XP or 98 where everything was claymation and it was a point-and-click game where the walls and ground were weird colors and you came across creatures and things. Again very vague, but it's all I can remember.
The Neverhood
Thanks, I really have to actually beat it now. I just remember me replaying it over and over until I find some monster and never get past. :v:
That game looks really interesting.
In a nutshell it's ARMA's granddaddy.
Ok, here's something that bugged me for years. It was released I think for PC sometime after 1997, 3d graphics with extremely horrible textures, maybe it was made on the quake 1 engine. Gameplay was, as far as I remember, you fighting monsters and/or humans and other creatures with swords, and I think it was arena-like gameplay. So you killed the monsters in a level and just moved on, that was all the progression. Combat was interesting because you could lose limbs, like arms and a leg and still stand, you could also do this towards your enemies. If anyone remembers this I would be extremely grateful.
I remember a game we used to play on my primary school's computers. It was a 2D side-view puzzle game and the beginning of the game involved a puzzle where you had to fix a vending machine in an old brick building, then there was something to do with a sword on the wall above the doorway afterwards. I could swear that its name had something along the lines of 'The Forgotten' 'River' or 'Crystal' in the title, but that isn't specific enough to search for it. EDIT: At some point in the game you also went to some sort of tropical island, and it became more point-and-click looking IIRC. There was also either a sequel (or later in the same game) where you had to build some sort of bridge I believe?
I remember this game that was set in I think contemporary period, maybe in the midst of a nuclear apocalypse, or hell, maybe attempting to prevent a nuclear apocalypse. It was a first person shooter. It had a campaign but I didn't really play much of it, there was this guy who took over this country or something, and they had a nuclear weapon, and the US invaded them and the bomb went off and killed a ton of people or something, but I mainly remember the revolutionary multiplayer system where you could choose to be one of two teams (usually US or middle eastern country) and you could choose perks and weapons to set up classes and fight the other players
Does anyone know the name of an Indie 2D platformer sort of game where you hack into terminals and shit? I don't know if it is out yet or not.
