First, there was an arcade game I played in the early nineties, it was a platforming shooter with up to two players (a white guy and a black guy, obviously) and I remember a level set on a window cleaning lift and another one where you're jumping across cars on a highway. If it's any help it was pretty awesome. Second, an old PC fantasy game with a first person perspective where you can shapeshift into different creatures like a ghost, a wolfman and a leprechaun of some sort. It had the word shadow in the title. If it's any help it was also pretty awesome.
Let's get straight to business! Facts about the game I'm looking for: -Was/is on Kickstarter. -Had a cool backstory about someone sending cryptic emails to the dev about discovering true horror or something. -Had a comic-y but twisted art-style -The objective of the game was to hide in a house and manage to not get caught by "visitors" (ghosts and zombies) until dawn. -I THINK the dev was a "known" one but I'm not too sure about that. I've been searching for a few hours now and I'm sure I'm just too dumb to find it because it's not that old. EDIT: FOUND IT! This game is still in development It's a 2d sidescroller sort of game about breaking into buildings The dev claims that it's going to have emergent gameplay And that's all I've got :v:
I remember a game where you could make your own character, and there were a lot of customization options. Like, you could literally choose to wear one shoe on one foot and another on another foot.
The Swindle.
Nah The game I'm thinking of is in a much more primitive stage.
There was this one flash game I played a few years back. It was a tile-based physics game that had different energy sources. I forget the exact goal of the game, but I think you either had to get a ball to a point or energy to a point. It's not Electric Box or its sequel. It may have also been an educational game.
Could this be it?
Did the main character have like a re-wiring tool by chance and you could use that to like, wire up the light switch to the elevator or something?
I think you could remotely control certain things, yeah.
This game is probably over 10 years old now - MIGHT be part of one of those games where it's actually just a collab of games (if it is then its probably bundled with a few strategy games or monster games.) - Play as some bald guy with a green t-shirt - 3D, but top down perspective, graphics were kinda shitty and a bit cartoony - You were in some haunted castle fighting skeletons and zombies and looking for keys - One of the bosses was a giant skeleton head Any one have an idea as to what this game is called?

There was this one PS1 game that I remember playing the demo of on a demo disc. It was a top-down(-ish?) perspective. The demo had 2 parts, a part where you were going around on a space-station like enviroment, talking to people, etc. Basic RPG stuff. Second part was a boss fight against this huge animal skull with 2 boney hands that werent actually connected to the skull in any way. I just remember being able to easily kill the boss by hiding behind a pillar where it can't hit you :v:

here's a really difficult one PC 3rd Person (I'm pretty sure, anyway) You were in a vehicle of some sort, like some sort of race car, and you left a trail behind you. It was a bit like snake in the terms of if you crash into your own tail you lose. The level was like black with green lines, and the objective of the game was to blow up the other cars. I don't know if this is related at all, but I somehow think of the word "Armageddon" when i try to remember the game. Nobody probably knows this and I have no idea how i obtained the game, probably in some sort of magazine.

This may be difficult, but here I (try) to go: It was either an SNES game or an NES game. It was an isometric racing game that had trucks racing around levels that mostly consisted of lava and I remember all the borders to the tracks on the levels had spikes. The only character I remember was this Megaman knockoff driving a blue sports car.
This is rather vague, but I'll give it a shot. It's a game from the 90s or early 2000s for PC. A strategy game, that is. When you start it up, the... opening screen thing (that lists play/options/uninstall, not when you're actually in the game) had light brown-ish gargoyles flying out at you. Pretty sure there was 3. It was on a black Anyway, I know it had a level editor, but I don't remember too much about it. Wasn't Warcraft 3.
So there's this game where you start off as a naked dude in maybe a lab or something and have to sneak around and stuff. It had a Metal Gear-esque camera angle, I think. That's it.

This is fucking killing me, but a few years ago I was playing a demo of a game on both the PS3 and the PC that looks exactly like Il-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover. Searching the steam and PS3 stores now though the demo is non existent, so I'm thinking that wasn't it. But yeah, WW2 planes, Dover, German bombers etc. No sign of any demo though. [editline]22nd October 2012[/editline] It was Wings of Prey. God fucking damnit.
It was a Japanese game that had English dubs or audio, I can't remember. You fly around as this weird, mystical Japanese boy who can collect clouds. You fly about the sky and round up loose clouds and pack them all together, and when you pack them together tight enough, it makes it rain. I remember there was a dark, depressing sort of city that you could fly over. I remember the music was really nice and relaxing. The game didn't have much point to it, you were just meant to fly around and collect clouds and then let clouds stream out behind you and make it rain.

So I've been looking for this game for years: It was a 2D platformer, your character was a blue guy. On the difficulty screen, easy was represented by your character as a baby, normal was just the character you played and hard was a bodybuilding version of your character. The first level was in a forest and if I remember correctly there were squirrels and holes in trees you could jump through. The second level was in a laboratory of some sorts and there were some kinds of robot enemies. You could also pick up nuts( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nut_(hardware) ), but I don't remember what they were for(maybe picking up 100 of them gave you another life). There was also I think a story concerning some evil scientist or something like that. And if I remember correctly it was a sharware game, and I only ever played the demo version.
