What was the name of that game where you collected eggs and you could throw them and they exploded into fire? I played it at my cousins house when I was like 4. There might have been other kinds of eggs but I dont remember.
Age of Wonders?
No. You only had one hero. Not a whole army.
I really need that game. :saddowns:
an anyone remind me of a certain game? You had a Spaceship that could assemble into a tank, you could also upgrade it and stuff (I think), you were fighting against an invasion of tanks and machines. You were humanity's last hope (drama) and you battled the enemy beside your force, and you were ALWAYS blue and the enemy had a black/red color.
Anyoneeee?
I'm bumping this thread, and asking this the fourth time, let's see if I can get it to 5.

Reminds me of Gun Metal though you're some robot that can transform into a jet fighter.
I remember a game;
I think you started in first person, you saw a car in front of you, you were at a parking lot in front of a gasoline-station.
I also remember if you drove the car at the back of the gasoline-station-house the game glitched and you were thrown up high in the sky.
I played it like 11 or 12 years ago, and I would like to play it again :)
There was this one Army Men game, but I'm not sure which one, there was a split-screen multiplayer mode, it was on the PS1 (or the psx to you greasy yanks) and there was one map with a maze hidden inside of a hill.

Total Annihilation?
Na, it had 3D graphics. I think it was made after 2000. I also keep thinking it had general or zero in its title (No it can't be C&C generals or sub zero)

Is PSX a yank word? I don't actually have any idea where that term came from. Everyone I know says PS1, and the only place I ever saw PSX was on various forums, and it took me a while to figure out what people meant
Anyone remember a thread made on here a long time ago about a Japanese game that was similar to DJ Hero? I think the title of it was a bunch of numbers and the game was ridiculously hard.
Sony produced a redesigned version of the original console, called the "PSone", in a smaller (and more ergonomic) case which was introduced in September 2000. The original PlayStation was abbreviated in Japan to "PS" and was often abbreviated as "PSX" by American gamers, as this was Sony's internal code name for the system while it was under development. This led to some confusion in 2003, when Sony introduced a PS2-derived system in Japan actually called the PSX. The PlayStation is now officially abbreviated as the "PS1" or "PSone," although many people still abbreviate it "PS" or "PSX". There are no hardware differences between the "PSone" and the original, except for a cosmetic change to the console.
I have always said PSX. I'm Swedish and both "PS" and "PS Ett" (one) sounds stupid. And when you say "PSone" it's like you're refering to the new console model specifically which makes no sense (it would be like saying "Which is your favourite Game Boy Micro" game instead of just saying "Game Boy Advance"). I don't know if you understand what I'm saying here, it's hard to explain.

PSX is easier on the tounge. I've used it since I was little because my uncle called it that and I guess it just stuck.
You can't really say PS1 either because it's name is Playstation and not Playstation One, so the real abbreviation is just PS.
Also, swedish here.
Ok, it was a game were you controlled ghosts and you tried to use them strategically to scare people out of locations. And it was made since 00' I think.
you were "god" and you used your mouse to draw symbols to make it rain/make a drought etc.
and there was some sort of GIANT cow that sometimes ate people.....
it MAY have been made by firefly studios but I couldn't find it there
I cant remember much more than that

Black and white
Yep thats it, thanks alot!
It was an old DOS game, you ran around a maze collecting gems but I think the main objective was to push a certain type of block into holes on the floor, it was 2D, top down, and the graphic style and sounds were extremely similar to the DOS breakout clone "Gemstones III"
I found it many years ago (Perhaps 97 or 98) in one of those old PC help magazines that came with a floppy disk stuck to it, and I can't remember the name of the magazine, but the above mentioned game "Gemstones III" was also on one of the issues' disks.
I can remember this really old game that was really hard but good fun, it had a Clown as a playable character and you flew around on a jetpack going through rings(I think) And it had a name a lot like Psychonauts but it isn't, this was in the ninties and on Ps1.

[editline]08:52AM[/editline]
It started with a p and ended with the word naut.
[editline]09:02AM[/editline]
It had a name extremely similar to Psychonauts, i think it's Psykonauts
[editline]09:04AM[/editline]
The clown was named something like The TaxMan
[editline]09:04AM[/editline]
The disk had like a white spiral optical illusion on it.
PS1 game, you played a guy who woke up in a spaceship I think and there were all these lizard mutant/alien things that were pretending to be humans n stuff and you got a pistol and you had to shoot them and it had darkness in the title i think.
I remember playing a point-and-click adventure game, and the first level was in paris, on a bridge. It was night time. I also remember going into a women's apartment and finding her dead in the bath.
I also remember it had something to do with Nazis. And the final level took place in a bunker. You had to make a Swastika with these four blocks to enter.
the protagonist was american
Some old childrens PC game. All I remember is that you can buy these weird ice creams. One of them had toenails in it, and another I think was rocky road with actual rocks.
It's been on my head for ages, and I just want to remember what it was called.
This is gonna be pretty vague, and I think I might have actually dreamed it up a long time ago, but it was a Playstation game where you were on a spaceship, and there was some kind of giant eyeball someplace in it. I know it ain't ideal, it might not even be real (yay rhyme) but if you know it can you tell me what it is?
