you were in a haunted house and had to collect keys before midnight called monster something
Not sure on this one, Was a 3d fighting game of sorts with weapons. All I remember is fighting inside of a parking lot against someone and I was either a huge fat guy or huge muscular guy, pulling a RPG out of the trunk of a car running into the street and blowing myself up. I think he could also lift cars and huck them at people.
It was an overtop view and you controlled a toy train and it was sort of puzzle-ish

I remember it was supposed to be an online game where people could join in and take the place of your generic NPC baddies, I think valve was helping with it not sure
Could you also get drinks from drink machines to refill health?
I recall one like that. I recall picking routes on which way to go...

Game One: A PS1 Game in which you and some other people are stuck in a room I think shaped like a hexagon or octogon and it could turn. I think the goal was to set a bomb in a hole or something. Game Two: I first played it on PS1 as it was a Demo on the Gex The Gecko Game. It was an RTS game. War style. You could place tank Traps and barbwire I think. There is a PC version and the Menu song was the same as the opening theme for the Original Yu-Gi-Oh or something like that...it was definitly from Yu-Gi-Oh ((WARZONE 2100 - http://wz2100.net/)) ((Thank you Wikipedia! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Gex_3_box.jpg)) Game Three: This have I use to have on the N64. It's a FPS ..I want to see RTS . You could build a base but it was all done in First-Person I believe. It was futuristic like on planets or moons. I will call it FPRTS because you never left a vehicle. You could place turrets and manually control them but mostly you were in a tank. I believe one of the levels was to escort a vehicle to another vehicle. If I remember correctly. There was a Sequel.
Best I can think of is Swarm Assault. You didn't really combine things in that game though.
hahaha. I thought he was being sarcastic and thinking about Spore oh and does anyone know of a game for N64. it started with a K and it was Japanese I cant remember if it was ported or I just happened to buy it at the local gamestop it was a 3d sidescroller and you could choose different characters. the main character looked like a midget Goku and there was a fat guy, and an mermaid at some point. also the time of day changed from morning-night and there WAS a part were you could run around a town in 3rd person and buy stuff. never got past the 1st Section (with multiple levels) and there was a kinda boss battle with a giant flaming skeleton on a bridge (that scared the shit out of me as a kid)
There was this old game for PC, it was a stradegy that let you combine certain animals/insects and make a army out of them and fight other combined things. Any idea?
Had that game? It's like animal machine or something? Combination? Dunno' THAT WAS ONE OF THE BEST GAMES EVER!
Complicated one for you guys: This game was made between 1990 and 1999. It's all point and click, you start on a bus (the road is rainy) and you go to your uncle's house. Your uncle is nowhere to be found but you find a note saying that you need to use the device he just invented. This device, with a 4-digit code, sends you to a sort of parallel universe/location. You find out in one of these parallel universes that your uncle is jailed and you need to bail him out, by travelling to different universes and getting the cash.
Some arcade game like Ikaruga but it seemed a lot more Modern than ikaruga did. It had fighter jets and various aircraft to choose from. I don't know what those games are called, but there was one I would always play at the arcade and thought it was really fun. I also remember playing either something very similar on dos, or maybe even the same game. There was even a little back story and you started out on a hanger with characters and stuff too. If someone could remember this game's name I would love you forever. And by the way what do you call those games like Ikaruga. I guess I would call it a "vertical-scroller" The game is pretty old too, 2D and everything. EDIT: A what the fuck moment just happened. I was watching a random ass Star Wars: Old Republic video on game trailers and I stumbled upon the screwattack section and noticed that the thumbnail of this video looked a lot like the game I was thinking of. Surprise, it was it. I looks a lot less awesome than I remember it being. Nonetheless I do remember spending way to many quarters on it.

Was a pc game, evil spaceship AI, zombie things telling you to run, looked a bit like half life1. twas a sequel.
Tass Times in Tonetown?
Nope. EDIT: Uncle Julius and the Anywhere Machine. It seems that it was made in 2004, but goddamn those are typical nineties graphics.

Was a game where you fuck shit up. You play as a viking teleported into a modern city. It was like Grand Theft Auto in the sense that you can roam around freely, but there are no missions, there is no currency, and the only goal is to fuck everything up. You go around breaking shit around the city, you can hijack shit and crash it into shit. There is realistic debris flying everywhere like in Burnout. One of your weapons is screaming. If you scream at someone hard enough, they become a viking too and assist you in fucking shit up. You can either be elaborate in fucking shit up, or you can do it the simple way. For example, you hear about a business meeting in the 20th floor of an office building. You can take the elevator up to the floor and burst in with your posse and fuck shit up, or construct a giant ramp of dead bodies and burst through the window on your motorcycle You win when the entire city is rubble, you fucked all the shit up, or if everyone is a viking.
System Shock 2
Thats it thanks.

I remember playing this one game on a PS1 demo disk. It was 3D, possibly a sidescroller except during boss battles. One of the levels on the demo had you running down a mountain away from a boulder until you ran inside a castle. Once in the castle there is a cutscene between you, some bad guy, and a kidnapped princess. Then you have to fight some 4 legged robot with wrecking balls for arms. That's all I remember. Dammit, this thread is making me all nostalgic.
It was some shitty time waster program where you basically ripped apart a ragdoll of gman. Was posted on Facepunch too.
I really hope somebody actually knows this one... It's an extremely old PC roguelike. I just got Spelunky, and it reminds me a lot of this old game, because there are lots of similar themes. The protagonist was some Indiana-Jones-like adventurer, and I'm pretty sure it was in some kind of desert-y setting, with snakes being one of the enemies, and probably also had some cacti and totem poles as scenery. As for the graphics, we're talking OLD. Not like, using text as graphics old, but it did have a limited number of colors. Probably DOS-based, and surely predating CDs. I think I vaguely remember the disk label having the word "Pep" on it, but I can't be certain whether that's at all related to the proper name. Movement in the levels was grid-based, not platforming like Spelunky.
An really old Green Vs Tan military game, RTS. First mission is like omaha beach.
An really old Green Vs Tan military game, RTS. First mission is like omaha beach.
probably not, but Army Men?
I remember a demo for this game... It was a psone game, and you played as a sort of robot spider thing, that could crawl all over the place. Anyone know the name of that roguelike where you started in a zombie infested city and had to head east to win it?
A game on Sega Saturn, it was a side scroller with some good art. Your primary method of fighting was throwing things, you had a bird with you, and uhhhh... crystals? I remember a lot of crystals.
