So I'm trying to remember the title of this game that one of my friends played, but all I can remember is that it was Third Person Shooter, weren't really that colorful, and in one level there was a girl on a playground telling you what to do. It was sort of post-apocalyptic I think, although perhaps that was just the one level. The dude you were playing as was wearing a striped shirt.
This obviously isn't a lot of information, but it's worth a shot to see if anyone knows it.
Fallout 3
This thread shall be known as the only one with bad spelling.

Also, I'm looking for an RTS that was somewhat of a starcraft ripoff. You had humans, aliens and some kind of cyborg race (I think). I don't really remember much except it was pretty old. And the cyborgs were generally yellow and the humans were generally blue.
not especially descriptive, but I hope you have some answers.

Just read your older posts Jester and I'm really sorry.
I have no idea if it isn't broken sword. Maybe an assorted adventure game by lucasarts?
Okay, its a PS2 game, you start off as a cheesy anime teen, who discovers that a giant robot is attacking, you get your own robot, and then you can independently control its arms and legs with the controller. I had the demo on a PS magazine disk once, and it was awesome. But now I can't remember the name for the life of me. :saddowns:
i've been looking for this game as well, the demo was really really awesome

KKND maybe
I don't remember much of this game but I'll say what I have
it was a small PC game where you could control a plane or a flying ship or something and you could get out of the ship and walk on the ground and there was a rope weapon you could use while out of the ship.
Its not so much a game as a sort of toy.
It is like a black grid and you can click on a square and depending on the square, there would be a tone and you could make little melodies and stuff.
I saw it on /b/ yesterday I think, but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me.

Hum, I remember playing long time ago an Ace Ventura graphic adventure game...
But I forgot its name.

Heard about a weird game, where aliens assrape Earth once, they invade again, and you have to infiltrate them to see why they are invading Earth again. It was on a handheld.
I still remember Tranquility Lane(I hated that bitch who was being a girl in Tranq. Lane).
It was a game back from 2000 or something, the old wolfenstein-ish shooting it had. The game was like a horror game (or it supposed to be, it freaked the fuck out of me, I'd even get nightmares about it). The game was (as far as I remember) about being in some house. The game icon on your desktop would also be a little house.
You started in a little house and I remember that right behind your spawn, there'd be a bookcase and you'd press space and the bookcase would slide to the side and reveal a secret passage.
Most of the monsters I remember were zombies that made a weird 'uuugghuhuugugh' sound when you saw them.
I don't remember much more, besides that when you quit the game, you'd see a list of all kinds of monsters like witches. Especially witches. I had never seen witches in the game so I always thought it was some kind of sequel to this game with new monsters in it or something.
This is a song that remembers me a bit too much of the game. The game had a weird piano play, something that is too fucking close to this:

it really is and it might very well be the actual song (only the piano parts and maybe a few more bass-ish instruments, but no guitar was in the game). it's the thing that reminds me the MOST of this game and it gave me fucking nightmares.
It'd be awesome if someone could tell me what game this is.

also its very scare because whenever I have 'shuffle' enabled in spotify, and I sometimes listen to playlists with this song in it. I choose the first song and listen to it, then suddenly the next song is this scary horror music. It happened like 3 times now that the second song is the scary one
There was a very old hunting game, low graphics and played on the PC. It consisted of shooting animals to fill a jar with blood or something along those lines.
One level in particular I remember was using a mini-gun to shoot a polar bear but usually it was on grass shooting rabbits and small game.
These details might not be completely correct as I watched my Dad play it, this has been bugging me for a long time.
Hey guys, i'm trying to figure out a demo i played a long time ago.
It was a ww2 FPS, and it took place in the winter, snow on the ground yadayada. It starts out with a firefight, and then you get to a base with healthkits and such, then it had a section where you had to jumped between foxholes avoiding enemy fire, and you rode out of the level on a tank.
I'm trying to find a racing game I was playing as a kid. It was kinda dark and futuristic as far as I remember. You could choose between a hefty amount of cars, and you could get access to the upgraded versions of all the cars. There was this sorta truck, and a smaller more manuverable blue car that I always drove. Those are pretty much the cars I remember.
It was a 3D game, if anyone finds it I will gift you Breach. I want to find it!

Vigilante 8 it sounds like. Could be 1 or 2, both had blue cars and trucks.
2 let you upgrade your vehicles, not sure if 1 did.
It's called POD. I finally found an efficient way of searching for it. WOOHOO!

What is it? Sounds interesting.
It's a futuristic racing game I played when I was 5. I just felt like I needed a nostalgia shock :buddy: Brings back memories..
Here goes another try at this.
It was a mecha combat game for the PlayStation One. The default language setting was Japanese. Either that or Japanese was the first option for a language, as I played the game entirely in Japanese. The game featured an anime art style while you were at "base", which at some point, you could go to the kitchen and play a mini game where you catch food or something. You could also go somewhere to equip your mechs with weapons and shit. When you wanted to go out and shoot stuff up, you chose from one of the four (?) characters and went on a mission with their specific mech. Each character had different missions I assume, as I usually only played one of the characters for the whole game, but the first mission for one of the other characters was different.
Once you were out in your mech, it was all 3D and no more 2D. The camera angle that you viewed the game from was behind the mech, looking from a top angle. Your mech would walk continuously in a straight line of one of the three "rows". Your robot could move sideways to either row to avoid stuff like oncoming trains. Enemies came in these rows, and they usually spawned from some sort of spawner that you had to destroy to stop them from spawning. In either the first or second level of the first character's story, you fight in some sort of desert, with the boss being a gigantic crab thingy with parts you had to destroy.
Bosses had cutscenes and dialogue, and their portraits were shown in them somewhere. Not sure if there was a text box or not. One of the particular bosses for the first character's story was a kid, green hair I think. You defeat him and his mech explodes, along with him. There's also a level for the first character near the end in which you're in some sort of base that features, amazingly, a very long and wide hallway with a red carpet of some sort. I cannot remember the final boss or I could simply never beat him.
Other various bits of information I can remember include just having a lot of options of places you want to go when you're back at base, such as the hangar. These came in little tags one under the other. I oddly remember going to one of the NPCs rooms, or at least something similar to that. If it helps, the game had two discs. I wasn't able to find anything by Wikipedia, Google or Youtube, so hopefully one of you know.

I still think Pod had an awesome storyline for a racing game:
It'll be over soon... it's going to be gone and this place will be forgotten.
It's too bad really, because the whole thing started out so well. Io is... I mean, was... one of the most successful new planets. It was colonized rapidly, industries developed, and people came from everywhere to take advantage of the work opportunities here.
For years, we all prospered. It was like living on a new frontier. And then... it all came to a halt. An accident in one of the mines exposed some kind of virus.
The press called it "pod" and it's practically destroyed everything here.
Everyone has left Io now, or almost everyone. Some have stayed behind, some by choice, some because they had no choice. Our days are numbered now. We're all doomed, all except for one person. There is one ship left, one of us will get away to safety. Pod is in the final stages of its destructive cycle. Planet Io and everyone left on it will die.
To kill time, we've been using parts from abandoned factories and forgotten equipment to transform cars into superpowered vehicles and race them around the empty streets of Io. Today's races aren't like the others, though. Today each driver is racing for his life. The winner will take his place in that one remaining ship.
The others? Well, well.

Im trying to remember an old GBA game. The case was dark grey. You were flying in a ship. Trance music was playing. the first mission was you flying down a tunnel shooting flating debris. it was from the perspective of third person. watching your ship from behind. as the levels progressed, new enimies showed up. they flew at you and shot small yellow balls. this game, as i remember it, was not half bad in terms of graphics. anyways. the ememies would fly back behind you and be gone. at the end of every level was a boss.
That describes about a thousand different shmups...
I'm looking for a game, It was an RPG, top down, you could play as four characters: a giant stone guy, a rougish looking man who wore slighty ripped burgundy red clothes, an archer woman, and a huge man with a huge sword.
I am trying to remember a game.
It was for PS2.
It was third-person and had melee combat.
You could transform into different creatures.
There was a lot of goo in the game.
It was very artistic and creative.
It had a demo or trailer for Star Wars Commando I think.
It had an extra where it showed how the sounds were made.
It had a mini-game to open doors. It was similar to Bioshock's locked door mini-game I think.
It was really fun and had great voice acting.
The opening cutscene was people in a ship kind of similar to Halo's Pelican.
I think you were stranded on the goo island.
That is all I can remember I think. I played it when I was like 7.
ALSO: I think the transformation was like Prototype's system for it I think. But instead of weapons for limbs you actually transformed into different characters. Like a big burly guy, a fast guy that can turn invisible, a cat like creature.
OH, ALSO: The levels were like the level in Halo 3 in the Flood's home or whatever. I think it was called Cortana. Yeah.
