It was a old pc game, where you would combine troop types like samurai and gunmen and it would make some weird combination of them, it was an rts game. I think it had realm in it's name, i'm not sure.
Battlerealms.
It was an old PC game that came out around the late 90's. You control a robot sort of like Mechwarrior but it featured an open world. You could go 1st or 3rd person and I remember in the cockpit there was a breathing noise. It is not Shattered Steel but it almost has the same look
Sim Copter?
THANK YOU! I have been wondering what the name was for ages.
A very old game for the Amiga. All you had to do was bombing a city from your hot air baloon. You could hit buildings, pedestriants and cars. Every level was just one screen with the buildings on, the baloon moved from left to right, you could drop bombs and I do think you could raise and lower your height.

It was posted here not too long ago. It was a 2d low quality game, the scenario I described was the entire game. Reposting from the first page.
Oh god I had this game, I think it was made in Game Maker or something.
Pretty old 2D point-and-click game for the PC, you played as some black-haired guy (I think his name was Larry or something similar) and you win a trip to a vacation resort by finding a ticket in a box of cereal. I remember a part where you end up as plane cargo and there's a cage with a giant ape in it. :v:
Old, old PC game, pre-2000 for sure. Was a hexagon-based strategy game, you had a set of guys to start out with and had to spread and take hexagonal tiles. Goal was to beat other teams and get as much land as possible. You paid an upkeep each turn that, if you couldn't pay, would eventually kill off your units. You could stack units to make them stronger and eventually beat other units. If your units died, grave markers would take over the tile. Also trees grew on your land that you would have to get rid of with your troops or you would lose some of the cash you got per turn. Other notes are that if you couldn't move your troops to a hexagon for whatever reason the game would go "OI!" really loudly. Also there was a faction of YMCA dudes. Would be awesome if someone could figure out what this game is. Only other information I have is that it probably starts with the letter T and is one word long, but not entirely sure about that either. It was probably a freeware game. Any help would be appreciated.
Old PC game (Dial up era) You could get the game on AOL online under the games section. It was a first person adventure game. You would start at ground level outside, some enemies, but not too many, I think you just had a sword. You could also go down a ladder into a cave and there were even more enemies down there.
Half Life: Blue Shift
The fuck? Are you serious? The one you're talking about could be Leisure Suit Larry 7 – Love For Sail.
Ok this is probably dating myself, but it was a DOS game where you controlled this little miner dude with a rocket gun, and had to collect all of the minerals or something. And everything tried to kill you. EVERYTHING. It was on a shareware disc that also included DOOM if that helps.
Every shareware disc on the planet for a span of about 8 years following its release had the DOOM demo on it, so I don't think that narrows anything down :v:
Mischief Makers?
Holy shit thank you.

This was from I was just little so I dunno 'bout the details. But basically it was an RTS I think and you could make towers that had like wicker tops and you could put archers that had fire arrows in them and I seem to remember the archers seemed really powerful. Pretty sure your resource was food and it was rice, don't remember much more. [editline]11th April 2011[/editline] Oh and it seemed dark and rainy.
For some reason Homeworld comes to mind when I think of this, but I know it isnt't. Sci-fi themed, around 2001ish I think, start in a room, need to light a fire to get out into the next place as the door is locked. It's a move-the-objects-in-the-room-choice styled thing. Please and thankyou sirs. Edit: Found it, http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/gateway-2-homeworld Turns out it's from 1993, I can't believe I was that young o: :D

An old two-dimensional, 8-bit (I think), floppy-disk game. You would start off as an animal and you could change screens by moving left or right, moving into similar grass-filled scenes with trees in the background. At some points, you evolve/turn into a different animal by accomplishing something (I think by killing another animal), and that's what kept me interested. That's all I can remember, sorry.
Anyone remember a game where you played as this zombie like guy wrapped in bandages? From what i remember it was a really creepy game with a lot of gore, came out for the ps1.
whats that game where you play as a scientist in this lab, and the experiment goes wrong and aliens come in, i think it had a sequel called blue force
Playstation one game. You fly some sort of ship or machine, seemed like a lot off it was underground in brown and lava type places, and you shoot other ships and perhaps creatures if I remember. Best way I can describe it im afraid. Also, it wasnt a continuous flying, you could stop mid air and change wherever you want to go etc... There were all kinds of paths and tunnels to take in all directions.
Either a PS1 or a Dreamcast game, Dungeon Crawler, there's a restaurant in the town where you don't have to pay for food(you can wash the dishes)

An old space combat game with a linear storyline - between missions you could click around different rooms in your base ship, and do simulator missions. It had some live action sequences I think. Sometimes if your ship got blown up you would eject, and you could see a sequence of an alien ship beaming up your escape pod. Then it would go black with the text "you suffered a fate worse than death" or something like that. Never mind - it's Wing Commander Prophecy I think.
I remember playing a point-and-click adventure game, and the first level was in paris, on a bridge. The protagonist was American and had a brown leather jacket. It was night time. I also remember going into a women's apartment and finding her dead in the bath. I also remember it had something to do with Nazis. And the final level took place in a bunker. You had to make a Swastika with these four blocks to enter.
Reposting this.

It was a game that had a demo that was in a PC Gamer disk. You started out in a prison where you did something to a wall to destroy it and escaped. I think there was a guard standing next to your cell and there was food next to him. And it was set in medieval times. And at the end of the demo, you were at some kind of collesium.
I can barely remember an old edugame, very old one. You controlled a person, and you had to go and find the words that were hidden throughout the level like "Tree" or "House" or "Wigwam", and once you found one you had to go and find the corresponding picture of that object. There were also enemies which were basically like purple slime things, and if you touched one you got hurt. If you paired up the wrong word to the wrong picture one of them appeared, and they were also spread throughout the level. There was a Bookworm who helped you by providing you with pink slime every time you paired up a word, which you could use to kill the enemies (Fight slime with slime?). He held it in a little bucket in the top-left corner of the screen. Once you found all the words in the level and paired them up correctly, you could go to the end of the level. That's all I remember.
WORD RESCUE. OH YES. Finally found someone else who played it :3
An oldish PC game that had something to do with a safari, and I'm pretty sure you started off in front of a house where you could interact with the environment by ringing the doorbell and such. I'm also sure there was a swimming pool nearby that held objects you needed to find, and one of the objects was a key to a jeep in order to go on the safari.
