Whenever I want to relive my childhood by playing old games that I did back then, I can. Because I remember their names, I search, I do a lot of hard work and I get them. They were mainly adventure games... But now I'm in a rut. There's one game which I haven't been able to find, and I don't think I ever will :( please help me! It's an old game, probably from around 1994-1999. I remember only certain things about it: I used to refer it as "the elevator game", and I remember that it was cartoon-drawn, very colorful, and it was an exploring/puzzle/educational game. I don't think the elevator was the center of the game, I think it was the house. Through the elevator you could wander around the many stories of the house, each with its own room (I think it was only one room a floor) and I remember that there was something like a firepole too, by which you could go all the way down to the basement. Now, the basement was mainly a black screen, and sometimes you could see some things highlighted. I also remember that the elevator button was purple, or maybe yellow. In each screen you could see a room and the elevator in the opposing wall. Also, the perspective of the rooms wasn't straight ahead, it had a bit of a lateral angle. The only result I get when searching my ass off is Elevator Action, but it has absolutely nothing to do with Elevator Action! I'm so desperate, I need to find this game, it is so important to me. If anyone knows, help me, please. Thanks in advance. [EDIT]: it's a PC game.
I recall a game for playstaion 1. There were four characters. A red, blue, green, and some other color, small robotish humans. In the game, if you were to step on a tile, the whole room would switch to the direction of that title. I made a diagram to explain this.
Eternam?
I fucking love you, cheers.
I can't find a game about Santa flying around in his sleigh and shooting elves and other sleighs IIRC. It's not the Natural Fawn Killers game, it's something else. Anyone know the name?
I'm looking for an RTS that was probably released some time between 1999-2001 (perhaps even 1998). It was 2D sprites, and there were three factions. It was pretty much a starcraft ripoff, with some sort of human race that had a blue color, some sort of cyborg race with a yellow/black color scheme (basic infantry had like horns?), and then I remember some sort of insect race that was half insect half humans maybe. They were green or red I think. It was a demo, so it was one level for each race. Like a green forest level for humans, a destroyed gray city level for the cyborgs, and some sort of desert level for the insects. [editline]8th September 2011[/editline] Nevermind, apparently i've asked before and it got answered. KKND. gonna get it and ~nostalgia.
I was gonna say Atrox, never mind :(

I played the crap out of it when I was a kid.
It was this old game on PC, you flew a spaceship thing indoors, while others attacked you, and i think you had to find colored keys to open doors, and rescue hostages. Revolt? This game was best on PC though. I still have my disc somewhere... Gotta find it.
Just so you know the game has a new patch from the community (1.2) and its still played online with rvhouse.
Well i need some help guys, its an older pc game i use to play as a kid, all i remember was driving a black car around a city ( i remember you could pick from a few) and there were no real goals, and there were cops. You could save re plays and everything. I really want to re get this game, but the title has seemed to slip my mind.
Sounds like Midtown Madness.
Very much like this game, but not this, you only had one car, and it was a grayish black. very close tho, thanks ! I hope someone knows what I'm talking about.
I remember playing a pc game many years ago, i remember that you were a mercenary, looking for work or something and you had your own spaceship that you could fly and walk in. Somebody recognise this?
That point and click game where the earth was really a giant machine and someone fucked everything up and you had to fix it.
I'm trying to remember the name of a game I used to play ages ago on my old Windows XP computer. It was a pinball game with pretty good graphics for it's time, and it had levels like a pirate ship, a downtown street, tropics, and etc. Instead of a menu, you rolled the ball to whatever you wanted to choose. I remember there were more levels too, but you had to buy them. It might have been a demo version I had, I honestly can't remember. [editline]11th September 2011[/editline] It wasnt on a pinball table either
Twas this game I loved for the PS, basically there were like 3 towns or so and they all were being attacked from the start and you had to go between them and keep each one alive, and I do believe it continued between more and more towns but anyways, it had one or more of the words in its name. Crystal, Dark, Stone. Any help?
Alright, this game was one the first I ever played, and not being able to remember its name is driving me crazy It's a cartoony sidescroller and your character is a caveman, your enemies are spiders, bees, pterodactyls, penguins (?) and you had weapons like clubs, tomahawks etc. I also remember that the final boss was a giant tree.

I don't remember the boss, but it sounds like Chuck Rock. Or Tombi (Tomba)? But I don't recall any tree in Tombi (which is an amazing game, get it).

Hey everyone, I'm trying to remember the name of a PC game, it's pretty old (must have been around windows 98/2000 edition). I had the demo of it, and if i remember rightly it came on a demo disk from PC Gamer Magazine (could be wrong). Basically it was a king of the hill game, there were two teams: red and blue. And the setting was a huge desert. Both teams started from opposite ends of the desert in sort of Tavern looking buildings. You then made your way through the desert towards a stronghold place in the middle, and there were little caves going from the blue area to the red. The stronghold was 2 storeys, and on the top floor there was a big spinning light that shined either red or blue (depending on who was defending the stronghold). The weapons were just standard guns, and grenades; and the theme may have been desert/wild west. That's all i can remember, hope someone recognises it and can help me find it! Thanks!
PC game, I'll bet it's from around 1996-1999, cant say for certain. What I remember is this boy with a white dog, climbing a mountain in one particular level. I believe that there were some shadow-like monsters that were quite scary (at that time). I also remember a cutscene where this boy falls down from the mountain and you'd have to start further down.. it was quite dark and scaryish... and I believe he looses his white dog, I'm not so sure. Would REALLY love to find out. So much nostalgia. If you have any questions please tell!
there was this thread on facepunch a long while back, about a first person game where you were in a city and you shot shit and everything was destroyable. it might have been a mod of something, but i remember that everything was matte white and the textures were being developed, its all i remember really.

It's a PS1 game and it's a side scroller. I remember that one of the levels was on a dock and at the end of the level, you use a green flare to signal evac and the mission is complete. That's all I remember
