Ages ago, I played some demo for the ps2 where you are like a human motorcycle. It's a racing game, and all the racers have wheels attached to their hands. The course was crazy, with vertical drops and stuff, but you always stuck to the track. Also, the track in the demo was a futuristic city-ish environment.
I remember this game it was on Dreamcast, and you drove a buggy with rockets and blew up spiders and shit. Anyone remember?
A playstation game I think where you drove around in cars which had guns on the top of them and you got powers ups and things and had to destroy each other I think
Viglante 8 / Twisted Metal
Far Cry 1 mod that looked absolutely amazing. Was posted here awhile back.
Reposting this.
I've been trying to figure out the name of an ancient PC racing game. The tracks were a combination of normal roads, crazy loops, spirals, and ramps. All the cars looked about the same, just different paint schemes, although there was a secret car you could unlock which was a red indy car. The name was simple, only one word if I remember correctly, I just can't think of what it was.

Thanks though. I loved that game! Last one I'm looking for:
Game One: A PS1 Game in which you and some other people are stuck in a room I think shaped like a hexagon or octogon and it could turn. I think the goal was to set a bomb in a hole or something.
I need some help remembering the name of a game from several years ago. All I really remember is that you were a pirate, and I think you meet Black Beard or Red Beard at the end of the game. And there is a part towards the beginning where you use rat poison for something, and the game had sword fighting in first person. There may have been a part towards the end where you had to navigate through a volcano. Not a great description I know but it was a game from my childhood, probably windows 98. Not monkey island, I'm very sure the game was created after Monkey Island, thanks for the guess though. Anybody else have an idea?
I need help remembering this game where you were some kind of robot or something that would fly around in a 2D city and you could kill civilians and the cops would try to shoot you and you could shoot down billboards and let them fall on people and there were multiple weapons to choose from. And it was freeware. Edit: It's Jetz Rampage 4!
There was this one PC game, it isn't really all that old. It was an isometric medieval game, where there were both campaigns and skirmishes, and if I remember right, multiplayer. I think the name started with a w.
I don't think anyone said it in the last thread. :confused:I'm looking for a game that was on one of the PlayStation 1 demo discs that came with it, I can't find the disc that it's on, so I'm asking here. It's like Tekken, in the demo you are given 3 opponents to fight and a gamemode that you fight or dance on like a disco floor. I forget the 2 first levels are but on the third one you fight a girl that is dressed and a police officer and she as a yo-yo as a secondary weapon. You fight on a roof top, after you win a blimp/zeppelin floats by and you jump on, you confront an another opponent and then the demo ends. It's was one of the games on the PS1 demo discs.
It was a racing game, and you drove all these cars through crazy tracks. It was a hotwheels game, and the intro movie was some kid winning some contest, so he got a shit ton of track pieces. I can't fucking remember this game. There was a volcano level, and a house level. And a garden level
Re-Volt?
Some old childrens PC game. All I remember is that you can buy these weird ice creams. One of them had toenails in it, and another I think was rocky road with actual rocks. It's been on my head for ages, and I just want to remember what it was called.

My father and I can't remember the name of the game: It was for PC. It could have been made anywhere between 1995 and 2002. It was a first person flying/shooting game. You were in some kind of spaceship/sub mix and the levels were really small (tunnels and such). Can't remember what you were fighting but I think it was also some kind of spaceships. The only other thing I can remember is some kind of female computer voice saying: "INCOMING".
A PS2 game- I only ever played the demo of it. You participate in Mountain Bike racing, but with an insane amount of weaponry to use against other bikers, Road Rash style. I remember throwable water bottles, and one course featured a race down a huge mountain with deer kicking players off their bikes and shit. [editline]12:56AM[/editline]
Ok, all i remember is: 1. It was a fighting game. Story mode. 2. Co-op splitscreen. I don't remember how many people, but 2 for sure. 3. It's pretty old. Maybe even before 2000. 4. It's 3D. 5. You could pick up objects and throw them or hit other people with them. 6. I remember there was a level with a huge open elevator where enemies would fall from the top.
Fighting Force for the PS1. Great game, I actually still own a copy. Just to make sure, 1 of the characters you can play is an extremely muscular ex-con. [editline]12:57AM[/editline]
Not sure on this one, Was a 3d fighting game of sorts with weapons. All I remember is fighting inside of a parking lot against someone and I was either a huge fat guy or huge muscular guy, pulling a RPG out of the trunk of a car running into the street and blowing myself up. I think he could also lift cars and huck them at people.
Same game, starts out with a cop car you can smash up to get an RPG. [editline]01:01AM[/editline]
Goemon's Great Adventure. I remember playing this one game on a PS1 demo disk. It was 3D, possibly a sidescroller except during boss battles. One of the levels on the demo had you running down a mountain away from a boulder until you ran inside a castle. Once in the castle there is a cutscene between you, some bad guy, and a kidnapped princess. Then you have to fight some 4 legged robot with wrecking balls for arms. That's all I remember. Dammit, this thread is making me all nostalgic.
Brave Fencer Mushashi. You play as a small guy with blue hair, right? VERY good game, recommend it highly.
Ehrgeiz?
Awesome, THANK YOU:dance: I actually searched that name last night, but a picture from a video threw me off. Thanks again, I loved that demo.
This game (PC. I think I was playing the demo) I remember playing but it's not well known, it's a space simulator sorta like Freespace, but this was made possible before then, you're in a ship and you can old school select parts of the ship to go to, or jump into driver seat and fly in this round ship. I remember you can press forwarded and gain speed and you can keep going and going, or press G and go into this auto speed thing that can make you go faster than light, you can fly into the sun and die or crash into a planet, I just remember doing a mission to fly to mars looking planet and dock with a fuel station to wait for two transport ships to give info and then fly to an asteroid field. game was made to be realistic space ship game as for the hud, your health bar is something that can separate from other games it's just tiny boxes in a row, about 30 of them and they change from green down to dark red and it should be at the top left. Here's another, this is pretty old, you're a sliding ship racing (just yourself) down different color floating paths, you can jump, blue is slippery, pink is burn ( you die ) this was for win 95 [editline]05:33AM[/editline]
My father and I can't remember the name of the game: It was for PC. Extension of an older request. It was an old 2D turn based strategy released for the Sega Saturn. You controlled several units, each containing a group of either planes, tanks or infantry. Each turn consists of you moving and/or attacking with each individual unit until all of them had done. After that, the opposing team would do the same. There was also an option to make all battles go into a 3D rendition of the battle.
Game advertised in magazines, dunno if it was ever released. Was set over different periods with time travel and expansive amounts of weapons. I remember it being mentioned people about czech sniper team or something against Navy Seals. It isn't darkest of days though.
This has to be Decent
I google'd Descent and it wasn't that the graphics for the game I searched were more 3D.
Blue v Red robot building type game. You were either a sentry type robot going to different computer building nobes on a map, or you were just a hovering nothing clicking on the computers. Once you built the robots they ran around fighting the other teams. I found it on a demo for the PS1 ages ago. Rate me bad reading, then help. [editline]03:55PM[/editline]
Re-Volt?
Thats an arcade game type thing. I paid £1 to play it the other day.
Mine isnt really a game, but I found no better place to post this. It was sort of a program that could use 3d models to create movies. But it was very simple like, you placed the character. And then you could tell it to do stuff like, Run here, walk here. And it would do it with an animation. it came with a few starter models but on the website you could get more. There was a free version and a paid version. I found it in either a maximumPC magazine or a PCgamer or something like that.
I remember it was supposed to be an online game where people could join in and take the place of your generic NPC baddies, I think valve was helping with it not sure
Found out its called "The Crossing" :D
I google'd Descent and it wasn't that the graphics for the game I searched were more 3D.
maybe it was Decent 3 or a continuation, I remember a cave/free roam one that had much better graphics.
