Too bad they're both awful.

Jedi_Rayne, you've never played either. You cannot disagree or agree if you have no experience in the matter.

You are incorrect sir. I have played both when I borrowed them from a friend.
After some time of playing them, I decided I would rather purchase them and finish them.
I am entitled to disagree, because I think they are both great.
Well, you'd be wrong. It's just a fact, dude.
Nah, they're both meh to me. I know people like them.
No DNF love?
If it's anything like the demo (which apparently it is, except for the whole game), then it's pretty much as terrible as the reviewers made it out to be.
Luckily I have Serious Sam for my old school shooter.
It really did give me a SS vibe though. I'm a huge fan of Serious Sam and the game did take me back. The game's a solid 7, not groundbreaking or big accomplishment. It just gets right what games have been getting wrong recently, which is being fun.
Anyone want to play some MGO around 10 Eastern?
Also, Neutralization Area 3 or Gigantic Warfare Simulation?

Oh god, carpal tunnel, how could this happen? Oh wait FP addiction, and typing in MGO.

I found it to be far too linear to have any real fun. I couldn't punch kids in the face, I couldn't shove people out of my way, I couldn't even have options as to how to beat a boss they just kind of force you to have certain weapons at certain times and if you don't have them you're fucked. Bosses should be harder than any mob, but they shouldn't be 100% immune to anything but explosives and turrets.
I just noticed while looking around,
KZ3 has support for only 24 players while KZ3 has support for 32
What happen?

32 seems too hectic, Guerilla obviously didn't realize that the real problem was their small ass maps.

Like the 64 players on Shipment (COD4 map) kind of "too hectic"?
Guerilla changed the multiplayer too much. They removed the server browser, make your own game, the preview of your character, and like said above, the player count. I feel like KZ2 multiplayer was better.

I guess I will, MGO name is Dude_Man_Bro
Edit: wow time flew by, thought it was 10 just now, nevermind.

get with the times you old geezer
People still play Killzone 2 MP right?
I'm thinking it may be a more, economical, if you say, kind of game on my wallet (The PS3 alone took out a whole third of my budget I set aside for gaming). But I don't want to buy a game that is potentially dead. Otherwise I might get KZ3 instead.
[editline]27th June 2011[/editline]
I'm assuming some still play, after all, people still play MGO2, but that's probably because there isn't an MGO3.
You set aside $900 just for gaming?
You set aside $900 just for gaming?
I live with my parents, I can afford to set aside that much since they (thankfully) don't make me pick up the tab (Yet).

Also, that was money that had been saved up over the past year, so don't think I have some huge magic budget that I can just allot that kind of money to gaming with the snap of a finger.
What are the best deals for PS3 in the UK, my girlfriend is looking to pick up a console? She likes games like LittleBigPlanet and might be getting Move for the active games.

Check Gameplay. Last time I used them they had good deals on games and consoles.
So I finished KZ3 yesterday and had no problems, now I'm trying to play online my PS3 keeps shutting down randomly. I'm worried it might be YLOD, but I haven't seen any yellow lights only a red blinking light.
I think it may be because of the heat wave currently happening in the UK and I've got no Air conditioning. But could this turn into a YLOD? I've got a 40Gb model so it could be :frown:
My non-slim PS3 did the same. I don't remember ever seeing a yellow light, but it did keep blinking the red one. And then it refused to turn on.
Hope it doesn't happen to yours :frown:
Try to redeem my Uncharted 3 Beta code.

Okay I've left it for a bit and its turning on okay, which is good. I think it is the weather at the moment affecting the system. I've opened all the windows and I'm gonna put it on a glass breadboard.
I might be late to post this but just informing you Australians that may be looking at getting a PS3, BigW have a special on 160GB consoles for $398.
Is it just me or does the slim seem to freeze a lot?

You're not the only one. :saddowns:
Okay my console seems to need repair :frown:
I left it and managed to play again for 20 minutes and it died again, ironically I was about to say to my mum that it was working fin- then it died .... again
So far I can still turn it on, so it hasn't completely YLOD, but it seems I have the 20 minute symptom where after that it turns off. Could be dust build up or building up to YLOD.
Anyone else had this problem?
My console seems to be locking up for a few seconds during Fifa (offline lag) and it was also doing it on DVD playback, I hope that it doesn't keep over.
Any suggestions on fixes for Fifa?
Finally got into the uncharted 3 beta, aaand I can't find any servers.

I've been in matchmaking for the past twenty minutes, i'm beginning to think this isn't going to work.
