So I could advertise my PS3 as coming with Infamous and Little Big Planet and they will work on a new account for who ever buys it?
Yes. But I'm pretty sure if they delete the original account that downloaded those games that they may stop working. Can we get a second opinion?
Some games have special rules when handling user accounts, you can check that by going into game info (where the size of the game is and whatnot) and checking if there is a scrolling text at the bottom. Otherwise yes. The games on the HDD would still be there and fully working but if they accidently remove them they can't get them back. That's not your problem though.
I guess I should ask this here: How cheap can a PS3 not-slim with PS2 and PS1 compatability go for?
What are your guys' thoughts on the MGS HD collection? Personally I am glad that Konami is going multiplat with it, more people to enjoy the masterpiece, and I know that it is causing the fanboys on the Playstation end of the Autism Petting Zoo of Fanboyism to get enraged. What does anyone else thing about it? I mean, it is just a damn port, it isn't going to effect the Playstation 3 version since it is just games being ported from a system that is barely any better than the Wii. I remember this one guy bitching whom had very little intelligence about game development claiming that they were going to "downscale it" so it could be ran on an Xbox. I personally am not worried, and plan to buy the collection for PS3 when it comes out. And I am pretty sure it is not going to be "downscaled so shiti xbox fagts can ply it". If anything knowing Konami it is going to get the correct treatment no matter what platforms it is on. (And don't get me started on the mass bitching about Rising) Also, to Sparrow, good luck finding any PS3s with PS2 compatibility. The ones with compatibility are too expensive (FIVEHUNDREDANDNINETYNINEUSDORRARS)
My only gripe about the MGS collection is that it doesn't include the first one. I guess they are going to release that seperatly later to earn more money.
I would have been nice to have the first one bundled in because they have already HD-ified some of the game already as I'm sure many of the people in this thread have seen. I hope they add it in as a last minute thing or a free download for early adopters.

[editline]24th July 2011[/editline] By the way... You know that feeling when you discover that wired controller you have plugged in with USB is also a wireless controller? Yeah, I just discovered that.
You didn't realise that the Sixaxis/dualshock was wireless?
How was I supposed to know? During setup I was told to plug it in via the USB, and whenever I took it out I couldn't do anything. I didn't realize until I decided to toy around with it an press the PS button when it was unplugged.

It's explained pretty well in there.
I would love to play the first metal gear campaign in HD, although I'd like to play peace walker too.
How long have you had your PS3 for?
Less than a month. Also, I am too manly for these feeble "instruction manuals". They treat the user like a baby that doesn't know how to do anything. I only turn to those when something is insanely hard to use, and the PS3 is far from "hard to use". And yes, I knew I could turn the PS3 off by holding down the button and selecting that. I just didn't know that you could use the controller wirelessly.
This is one of them " What the hell was i thinking?" moments.

The MGS series was never a PS exclusive. It was just mainly featured there like Call of Duty and Microsoft. MGS1 was on the PS1, Gamecube, and PC MGS2 was on Xbox, PC and PS2 I think the only exclusives were MGS3 and MGS4

I bought Homefront for cheap over the weekend (25 bucks is pretty cheap for a game that came out in March this year). The story is slightly above average, I'm at the last mission I think so its a very, very short campaign. It's got a surprising amount of colour to it, which I like (but kinda goes back to brown mode in Multiplayer). The guns have really good weight and feel really powerful (killed 5 guys in the span of 4 seconds in multiplayer by firing full auto. It was a pretty small room, but damn they go down quick) The game has also hanged on me at least three times now, more than any other PS3 game I have ever played. The quality of the port really shows.
Since I'm new here, do you guys suggest any game I should buy? Like killzone 3? Is it good? The demo seems pretty awesome. Love the nazi looking helghast. Too bad you can't zoom in. Also, I don't seem to have alot of games available on PSN. Is it also because of my region?

Killzone 3 is quite literally a COD clone.
So my old microphone that I got with my ps3 broke. Can someone reccomend me a nice headset that wont break? 20-30 dollar price range if possible =D

i just bought a PS3 today and LA Noire [editline]26th July 2011[/editline] Please add my PSN username to the OP list Hendo-123-
What do you guys suggest that I should pick up on EU store during the sales? I was thinking about Sam&Max+Peggle or maybe Swords&Soldiers OR SSFII HD turbo GOTYAY director's cut remix+Peggle or S&S P.S.: Please add me to the list - JohnTheEncek
the EU summer sale was very dissapointing IMO. I really hope there will be other offers since most of the current ones are crap.
