I have a question.Bascially, last night I went out of my game, and the PS3 just froze.There's no other way(at least on my ps3 lol) to turn it completely off than unplugging it from the electricity(i have a button for that, so I don't ACTUALLY do it).So basically, when I tried to turn it on, I could hear it starting to run (fans and stuff) but then it just turned off.Then, me being worried about the CD, I quickly turned it on and pressed the button.Then bam, it magically works.Should I be worried?I mean, it works now but still...

I kind of like the Resistance series, Resistance one is like a weird hybrid of old FPS, R2 is a bit shit gameplay wise, but is still fun, and R3 I have no idea about yet. Metal Gear Solid 4 if you like that kind of gameplay (and the storytelling) I don't know about them myself, but apparently the Ratchet and Clank Future series is quite good for jumpy shooty third person action platforming. Most PS3 exclusive games are usually very good.

Is Castlevania: HoD a mordern 2D Castlevania game (with character progression, etc.) or is it more of an arcade game?

Just picked up the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus collection for $25 new. I've never played these two games before, but i've heard good things.

Castlevania HoD is brilliant. I've stayed up to 5 am two nights in a row playing it.

I've got the YLOD now. I left the ps3 off for a week or two after it started turning itself off when I tried to play GTA. Today I turned it on and it didn't even get to the XMB before it beeped and the yellow light turned on. I had already planned to buy a new PS3 and am going to get one tomorrow, is there anyway to get the saves and stuff from the old one to the new one? Even if it means doing something to the old PS3 that will void its warranty, just so that it will be able to stay on for an hour or so.

Worked for me and I managed to get the saves onto a USB.

These new games (Hot Pursuit and The Run) are just racing through a straight line. What makes it worse is the fact that all races seem to take place on highways. Not to worry, it's not all a straight line, they curve too.

30 minutes with a hairdryer later and my temporarily fixed old 40GB PS3 is connected to my new 160GB slim PS3 with an ethernet cable and they're making sweet sweet data transferance. Arkham City came today as well so I'm really excited. Hopefully the old PS3 can stay on for 13 more minutes.
