I don't really do the whole account sharing thing much anyways, but I guess it is a big thing.
I shared my account details with a close friend, and he shared his with me, though he also shared his details with a few others. So, in the end, I guess it is preference over who you would want to share your content with more.

Sony is currently making a software framework similar to Xbox's XNA. Here's the closed beta app:

Apparently, it uses C#, you will be able to create games/apps, and submit them to the Playstation Suite (similar to the Xbox's Indie Games section). You can test them on the PSP, PSVITA, and the PS3. I am personally excited for it.

Do you suggest that I put this in the programming forum?

Yes. Tell the programmers about this. It's a great idea for Sony to expand like this, it would make creating small games (and possibly applications) quite simple. I might tinker with it myself when it launches.

Firmware update 4.0 is disappointing to say the least. All I got was a load of health warnings and things I can't use.

When I'm signed out I get a Playstation+ icon under the Playstation network tab. At first I thought it was a shortcut to all PSN+ related things, which would have been nice. But all it seems to do is log me in and when I'm logged in it just disappears. Whats the point of it?

I do not need this warning. This is something even lower than what Nintendo would do. All this update added was even more "BUY PS+ BUY PS+ BUY PS+" prompts and a useless feature for a handheld I will never use.

So christmas is coming up, was wondering if you guys had any recommendations on games to ask for. I was definitely thinking about the ICO/Shadow of the Colossus collection, maybe infamous 2. Haven't been paying too much attention to many games recently, if there are any ones that are must-haves I'd appreciate hearing about them.

i think you might be lucky, because the same procedure of 3.73 will probably work on 4.0 too

no details is released on the 3.73 jailbreak, so thats why Sony hasnt been able to take precautions

MGSHD Collection, which is I think $40-50 and has 3 amazing games, SotC/Ico collection are definite must plays, Ace Combat Assault Horizon is fucking amazing, and the new Saints Row looks great and it comes with a digital copy of Saints Row 2 for no extra cost on PS3. inFamous 2 is also great, and with the new vampire DLC you could have even more fun. So very many great games these past few months.

Does anyone know if the Playstation wireless stero headset is worth buying? I noticed the speakers on my TV that are used to hear rear sounds or pretty crappy.

Just want to know is it worth spending over £100 is worth it.

Also I don't have my Playstation 3 yet. What is the online like? I heard the isn't a lot of English speaking players.

I just bought uncharted 3 and it's amazing for a third person shooter.
