I bought the MGS:HD collection yesterday, gosh I forgot how badly I suck at stealth games.
Just bought FF7 since its on sale on the PSN Store, gonna buy MGS HD Collection when I get the money but until then this will sustain me.

What order are you playing the games in? The suggested order is kind of bad, even though it lines up the story, the gameplay controls change up quite a bit throughout, playing Peace Walker last lets you see how refined the controls are, though going prone has been limited greatly.
What is the suggested order?
Just play them in the order they came out: 2, 3, and PW.
story order for the mgs hd collection goes mgs 3 -> mgs pw -> mgs 2
it honestly doesn't matter what order you play them though
it's really a matter of preference in my opinion
Add "NoPartyHats" to the list.
Also, Uncharted 3's singleplayer was breathtaking. Best Singleplayer all decade I would say.
So I finished Uncharted 3 recently, the plot was good as expected, but [sp]Salim fucked up the end, Drake spends 99% of the game searching for clues about where to find Ubar, then Salim shows up in the abandoned village and rescues Drake for no reason, then Drake tells him about Ubar and Salim acts like its location is common knowledge around there. Also Drake just happens to stumble upon the city.. In a sandstorm, yeah..[/sp]
Salim knew where it was located, it's inside a perpetual sandstorm :v:
10 BUCKS LEFT on PSN SHOULD I BUY GOD HAND OR ODIN SPHERE?!
I DONT KNOW
10 BUCKS LEFT on PSN SHOULD I BUY GOD HAND OR ODIN SPHERE?!
smash cars
Speaking of smashing cars, Twisted Metal next week, woo!
Preordering Twisted Metal tomorrow to get Black with it.
Also, 35+ maps is amazing, and they come with the game at launch, not as dlc bullshit.
Just found out my PS3 couldn't play PS2 games. What the fuck thats the main reason bought it.

From what I remember it was rather expensive to continue making ps3's that have the hardware to play ps2 games. There are a like 8 PS2 games on PSN. Not sure how they really did it tho or if it's even compatible with the Slim.
Just found out my PS3 couldn't play PS2 games. What the fuck thats the main reason bought it.
Yeah they only work on Phat PS3's I think.

Why didn't you buy a PS2? They're way cheaper.

Not all of them. The 40gb, 160gb, and some 80gb systems can't play them.
The ones that do aren't hard to find though I don't think. Just gotta know how to tell the difference between the two.
the ones that have ps2 compatibility are rare and expensive as fuck now
you're better off just buying a ps2
The problem is that Sony shouldn't have been using such proprietary, hard to emulate hardware (*cough*emotionengine*cough*) to begin with for the PS2 (And the PS3)
Why do you think that fat PS3's costed $600 to buy and flopped in terms of profits? Because the hardware was too expensive to manufacture to begin with.

God Hand but only if you're man enough and if you're not man enough go back to watching MLP you faggot.
So, I wonder, is the Vita going to sell well out in the US, unlike the PSP, or is it going to essentially be the VITAnic?
I mean sure, it has great stuff like remote play that actually works well with the PS3 unlike the PSP, and phenomenal graphics for a handheld, but will publishers support it this time or is it going to be mainly just first party games again?

Iirc almost all the good games came out later in the psp's life time so if that happens again the Vita is pretty much fucked.

The 60gb, not 160gb
The 60gb, not 160gb
All 60gb PS3s can play PS2 games, the 160gb can not.

Not sure what to think about this... I already own Modnation Racers.

Sucks, I have a ps2 but it's not really worth taking out just to play one or two games.
Sucks, I have a ps2 but it's not really worth taking out just to play one or two games.
Then just keep it out like I do.
PS3 and Xbox at front of TV for quick turn on, PC (I leave it on always so no need for quick reach) and PS2/Other old consoles behind the TV.
It's worked for me.
All 60gb PS3s can play PS2 games, the 160gb can not.
The hard drives can be upgraded though right? Easily take a 60GB and swap it for a 250GB?
I hope they don't make it so god damn cinematic that it doesn't feel like a game anymore
and perhaps this time when you do shoot or hit someone they'll fuckin react
[editline]9th February 2012[/editline]
shit even mgs4 balanced cinematics with gameplay
The hard drives can be upgraded though right? Easily take a 60GB and swap it for a 250GB?
Yeah, I just don't know the exact model numbers so I call them by the hard drive they ship with.
The new co-op adventure DLC for Uncharted 3 puts the on-disc adventures to shame. It's a lot more challenging and the supposedly ending boss fight will pit your team against [sp]the djinn. The bust is cursed, apparently.[/sp]
That's cool and all but I'd rather they actually make some decent multiplayer maps, and not release a bunch of shitty reskins of maps for $10. Oh wow, it's paid? God damnit is it really that hard to release something for free for once?
