How does the new activation system work? Does game content activate when logging into PSN now? I can't activate newly bought games on one of my PS3s. EDIT: I use the account on 3 systems and have downloaded the game on one.
I just tried gamesharing the other day with a friend thinking I could still have 5 PS3's activated, they dropped it down to only 2 now.
Got Devil May Cry HD Collection this morning. Haven't played the originals back when they came out, but here's what I think of each so far. DMC1, fucking camera. DMC2, fucking camera. DMC3, Holy shit this is awesome.
Got Shank 2 and Shift 2 from the EU PSN+ offer. Fuck me Shift 2 was disorienting. There is a true first person view from inside the helmet, made me feel I was sitting 5 feet to the right of the car at every turn. The dude even turns his head at corners, needless to say my GTR was going waay of course. Then I hit square and got the steering wheel, whew. Also, Driver San Francisco was 20€, don't mind if I do, especially because it costs like 60€ here still.
I actually predicted this was going to happen someday.
I would MUCH rather prefer ModNation 2. The whole try-hard cutesy atmosphere will probably make for limited level design, un-like some of the tracks we saw in Modnation Racers. I really hope the character creator isn't as limited as LBP's. Modnation's Mod creator was so fucking diverse it was incredible. I mean look. Was I the only one that loved this games overall atmosphere and look? You could literally type in any figure/character from any movie, game or TV show into the creation station and someone would've made an exact replica of that character.
I bought Just Cause 2 for the PS3 since it doesn't run on my PC, it's some of the most fun I've had in an open-world game in a long time. Also started Journey, incredible game as well.
Hey, not sure how much of you care, but I bought a Battlefield 3 server on PS3. Right now it's running Squad DM and Squad Rush. I'm also open to suggestions for maps and gamemodes, so hit me up if you have ideas for that. If you want to find the server, just look for the one that has "Facepunch" in the name, and the password is "garry1"
Anyone know when Dust 514 is going to go OB/Release? Starting to itch for another shooter with Move support, and it's probably going to be awhile before CSGO comes out.

Twice.
Anyone else try the Dragon's Dogma demo? I thought it was okay, what the fuck is with the framerate. I kinda want it now but not if the final game is going to be choppy like that.
Hey OP, can you add me into the list? My ID is spectre1493 [editline]2nd May 2012[/editline] Also, does anyone here still play MotorStorm Pacific Rift?
So I decided to buy a PS3 to finally play all the exclusives, got pretty much everythign but one thing worked out, and that's what I need to watch blu-ray's with it. I remember that there was some sort of required license on all devices to watch HD movies when br came out, and I am planning to connect the PS3 to my monitor via HDMI, and am unsure wheter or not usign a PC display is an issue.

Every blu-ray I've played did so without problems. Even ones that were pre-owned.

Most moniors have HDCP protocols built in and therefore plugging a PS3 into one and watching a blu-ray should not give you any problems.
Anyone else playing Armored Core V or Battlefield 3? I swear the moment I got BF3 the other day all of my friends jumped on over to MW3, when they were playing BF3 constantly. [editline]4th May 2012[/editline]
Also, does anyone here still play MotorStorm Pacific Rift?
Ever since my PS3 corrupted I lost my main save but I'd be willing to play again possibly.
Hey OP, Mind adding me to the list? My PSN is Toribash4522

Does anyone here play BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend? I want someone to practice/play with.
Ok guys, is there any reason to get the PS3 Slim over the old model, I am able to get an original release model used and am wondering if it will be slower or won't support firmware versions etc.
Ok guys, is there any reason to get the PS3 Slim over the old model, I am able to get an original release model used and am wondering if it will be slower or won't support firmware versions etc.
Should work fine, though I hear they had some nasty hardware issues. Also limited storage space unless you bought a new hard drive.
Hardware issues?

My PSN is robotman5 (Do not have a PS3 at the moment only a PSP).
Is anyone here's PS3 crashing/freezing when they play Battlefield 3? What should I do?
Is anyone here's PS3 crashing/freezing when they play Battlefield 3? What should I do?
I think that happened to me once or twice. I don't think there's a fix (as far as I know).
I think that happened to me once or twice. I don't think there's a fix (as far as I know).
My friend said it might be the disc laser or something like that.
My friend said it might be the disc laser or something like that.
I'm not sure. If it happens to you all the time, then it could be possible.

My 9 month old PS3 Slim does it too. It's a feature of the game.
