Is Scott Pilgrim vs the world any good? [nevermind, tried the demo and I think it's terrible] Or are there some better $7 or under games out there? I just need something to tide me over till dragon's dogma.

Anyway. I decided I#d buy InFamous 2 recently seeing as it was quite cheap secondhand. It's quite enjoyable, especially compared to the first I think. The wider range of movement powers alone makes it so much more fun.
But I think I've found the real heart of the game. The bit I give way too much of a fuck about. The User Generated Content. Most of the "missions" uploaded are fucking awful to be honest. Either they aren't really missions (XP farming, stupid attempts at puzzles, etc.), or the mission has bad design (here's a bunch of endgame enemies. Good luck!). So that inspired me to try the editor myself. And my god I think I might have fallen in love with it.
It's so simple. Yet so effective. The entity limit kinda sucks. But there's not much you can do about that really other than be careful how much you use. I started from scratch, not knowing a single thing about the editor. And in about an hour I had got a full grip on it, and managed to get AI paths and stuff worked out with no help. Earlier today I worked out how to make a proper "tracking" mission where you follow a target and avoid being seen. And just now I ironed out all the bugs in it, and threw together a battle and collection objective to round the mission off. With three endings depending on how you treat the battle.

Man, I really want Infamous 2, played the demo and thought it was aweosme, especialyl all the improvements from 1. Wish I wouldn't have bought Uncharted 1 + 2, those suck :(

What have you been smoking? The Uncharted series is fantastic.
No it's one of the worst games ever trying to have 10 % Lara Croft which just sucks and 90 % shooting at mindless enemies that have worst AI and just fling around when you aim at them. The parts of the story I've seen have been really dumb as well, but I'm not gonna arse with this shit gameplay. Also no fucking ammo at all.

Uncharted may not have a perfect story. But it's not trying to be perfect, it's trying to emulate movies in terms of how ridiculous it is. I think it manages to break a nice balance between Tomb Raider and cover based shooty-shoots quite well. It's just it doesn't do either excellently because of that (the jumping mechanics are hella broken sometimes, Nathan just seems to enjoy jumping to his death I've noticed). But a lack of ammo? There most certainly is not. Enemies all carry a decent amount on them, it just means you have to drop whatever you are using to get some ammo, no universal-ammo pickups from dead bodies like every other shooter has had for the last decade.
But still, InFamous 2 seems to be well worth the money. I have a strong feeling I'm nearly at the end of the game though, so the story isn't too long, but the powers are all pretty cool, and the UGC stuff is still really interesting.
I want my money back Uncharted is not worth it, I'd rather get Infamous.
You can always give inFamous 2 a rental, it's a singleplayer game and the online mechanic doesn't require a stupid ass online pass, or you buy it used for cheap now, if you can't get your money back on Uncharted.
Well I can return Uncharted 1 cause I got it from Amazon, so I am doing that. I kinda wanna buy the Hero Edition of InFamous cause of all the swag.
Uncharted 3 was an unbelievable mess. The first two were great, this one was just unfinished and a jumbled mish mash of a story written around set pieces.

The fact Little Big Planet Karting wont have something similar to ModNation's ModSpot saddens me.
It just looks like an overall down-grade from MNRacers.
The worst part of MGO2 dying is that it's shithole community is going to spill over into other games now.
