Also, they removed the ability to be activated on more than 2 accounts (you, plus 2 others). It used to be you could have up to 5 ps3s activated, yours and 4 others, but as of last year, that is no longer an option. If deactivating and reactivating your ps3 has not fixed the problem, then I believe it is time to contact PS support.

When you deactivated, and relogged in to your ps account. Did it say activating at all? If not, on the ps3, log in, go to account management, system activation, ps3 system, and click game.

So, I mentioned my PS3 died a month or so ago. Still haven't sold the thing yet. Is it worth breaking it down into parts and trying to sell them, or just selling the unit whole for someone to try and fix? From the looks of it I could make more money selling it in parts, but that requires effort, and it may not sell.

I'd try selling it as a whole first and if that doesn't work just try to part it out.

Well, LBP Karting. It's a huge disappointing mess of a game. The "Beta" is the most unstable and shitty thing I've played since... I can't really name a truly bad beta, I was in the Bad Company 2 Alpha and that was 1000x stabler than this. Now the controls for the game, are extremely unresponsive sometimes and they use the same controls as Modnation with some new and obnoxious twists to the creation controls. The only features I do like, is the fact you have the wire system you had in LBP2, and can make powerups and weapons using the wire system for your races or battle arenas. What's wrong is, the new editor, deserves keyboard and mouse support, because it is IMPOSSIBLE to get anything done with a controller. And because of this game it is extremely clear why building in 3D in LBP would have been incredibly difficult and near impossible. Lastly, Kart customizing. It comes down to this: Kart type, body, wheels, steering wheel, seat, horn, engine. (Wow, way to make good use of the LBP license!) One last rant about it, as godly as Stephen Frye, please do not let him voice tutorials that include incredible complex button combinations for the 3D building editor, he uses cutesy words and all that like he did in LBP1 and 2, and it does not work here when there is double the button commands as modnations editor.

Such as, if you buy a year, it ends up being cheaper per month than buying the 3 month sub.
