I went to get the free games, so I selected free PS3 game 1 and it disapeared before I could get the game? the fuck?

Asian PSN users get shafted once again. Wipeout HD is really the only one on the free games list for Asia that is worth spending time on, the rest look kind of lame.

I already got the 30 day free PSN+ and my two games. I chose Infamous and Wipeout HD.

Can anyone explain Wipeout for me? I've never played the series and I'm pretty bad at racing games. What is Zone? Why shouldn't I chose the ship with the best handling, fastest speed and fastest boost? How do I make close turns? Pro-Tips?

Go as long as you can without blowing up your ride. Choose what ship suits you best. The L2 and R2 triggers in tandem with steering normally can make all the difference on tight turns.

Okay, thank you. But in Zone, what are the Zones? Is there a difference aside from the color?

I plan on Getting a Ps3 Killzone bundle by trading in my xbox,games, and rockband set. Hopefully i have enough to get it by a direct trade without using any of my money. Only reason why i am going to gamestop is because they have a 50% trade in bonus credit on all games right now.

I can buy most xbox exclusive games on pc but not so much with sony. I have only three brand new games and about 6 old ones. It can either sit around being worthless or i can use it to get what i planned to get for almost free. Be different if i just wanted to get a ps3 to get the same games on xbox. All i want to know is if anyone knows how much you can get for the things i have when you trade in into gamestop.

For a X360, you might get about $90 trade in value. Then each game will range from $1 to $10. Yea they love to rip people off, cause they go back and sell that $1 game for $15. The rock band set should net you some good money though. Somewhere between 20-50 maybe? This is why I feel you're ripping yourself off, EBGames won't give you anything worth while in return. You really better off keeping that system and selling it on Kijiji or ebay.

Finally found my psp, only to find out that I have a 1gb memory card.

Guys I was thinking, what if this whole Welcome Back program was a PR scheme? Think about it, some random hacker was able to take down the entire security of sony and with the help of the FBI, CIA, whatever they were still not able to track down the hacker. What kind of brilliant hacker would waste his time with a game company? And the credit card thing, none of them were ever used despite people claiming they were. And I don't know of any incident where someones account was stolen. With all this said, the only thing the customers suffered was a very long downtime. And in return everybody gets up to 4 free games and PSN+ for free. Wouldn't this be some sort of promotional thing? To get people to think "Sony is so kind, they gave me a free game and protected my information!" I'm not complaining of course, I'm enjoying my freebies. But I can't help but feel this is some kind of marketing ploy.

Free Playstation home items are up. Some good ones, I like the Mansion Garage with the Golden Everything items it comes with. Free Mummy Costume makes you a Mummy for real, and you get a free Dragon lair. Looks like they are still adding stuff though for the 100 free items.

I'm not sure if I should try to get my free games yet. My friend attempted to yesterday and it wasn't working and then the "Free Game 1" and "Free Game 2" things disappeared and he couldn't get them back. Has this been fixed?

You know what I hate? When people bitch about Playstation +, more specifically how you don't get to keep PS+ exclusives if it runs out. Now, I haven't activated my free 30 days yet, but I DID browse through what PS+ offers. You get A LOT of shit for free with PS+. Sony would be crazy if they let you keep all the free stuff after your subscription ran out. For, what, $15, you get waaaaaay more than $15 worth of free stuff. /rant

Am I the only one waiting to download the PS+ until the last day or so possible? I imagine I'll get the most out of it that way.

Got LBP on my psp. But now I don't have enough space for another game :v:
