I finally decided to update my PS3 to the latest update so I could see what games were in the welcome back pack, only to find out that the email they sent the reset password instructions to is fucking inactive. So now I can't access my PSN account because I need to change the password, and I can't access the email account since it's been deleted. What should I do?

Still can't fucking change my password, this has gone far enough.
I was ready to download Killzone: Liberation, then I remembered that my dog ate my PSP. Then I remembered I have another PSP from it's launch! Then I remembered my dog ate the stick duo and the other one is lost :smith:
Still can't fucking change my password, this has gone far enough.
SONY IS OVER..
Not related to the outage, but is LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean worth getting? I liked the demo a lot.
i chose my games.. but i couldnt find them
Holy shit, im not dissapointed with WipeoutHD , fucking beast of a game!
It looks beautiful too doesn't it? I'm quite happy with my selection of games. inFAMOUS can be quite annoying a lot of the time though. Even with reduced damage upgrades I find myself getting over whelmed. Where I have to worry about recharging every 5 seconds, the enemy can reload in 2 seconds and have unlimited ammo. And the conduits, although fun to fight, make me wish I could use that shockwave move.
Not related to the outage, but is LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean worth getting? I liked the demo a lot.
It's loads of fun. It's even better if you have someone to play with. Best LEGO game yet imo.
I downloaded Wipeout, LBP, Ratchet and Clank, Super Stardust, Dead Nation, Burnout Paradise, Final Fantasy VII and bought Just Cause 2 yesterday. What order should I play the games in, I'm already going through burnout since i only have it for a limited time and want to get the trophies while I can, and i'm probably going to play FFVII last.
Maybe Ratchet and Clank, save FFVII for the end.
Maybe Ratchet and Clank, save FFVII for the end.
I am, I already played through about 2/3 of disc 1 when I was a kid and got stuck at a boss battle that I just hadn't prepared for, now I can only find 2 discs and both of them are scratched beyond belief so I thought I might as well download it. Ratchet and Clank is very short I've heard so maybe it is a good idea to play that next.
Free Playstation home items are up. Some good ones, I like the Mansion Garage with the Golden Everything items it comes with. Free Mummy Costume makes you a Mummy for real, and you get a free Dragon lair. Looks like they are still adding stuff though for the 100 free items.
I had no idea they were giving free PS Home items. Gonna have to look into it! Thanks for the heads up
Still can't fucking change my password, this has gone far enough.
Shit is about to get real.
There are no instructions for resetting, you just log in and it shows a reset password screen.
For me, it says that "instructions" have been sent to the inactive email account.
That is really odd. Try sending emails to the Sony support team.
That is really odd. Try sending emails to the Sony support team.
I can't find an email anywhere on their damn site. It's either the FAQ or forums. Have you got an email I could send it to?
Damn, Closest race I've had in Wipeout yet, won by 0.01 of a second, I was 3rd on the last corner, took second on the corner and was just fast enough to get 1st
Is the playstation home content up for the EU?
psn will give me infamous for free? i'm no longer disgruntled
psn will give me infamous for free? i'm no longer disgruntled
My thoughts exactly, I just forgot about my anger for sony. The welcome back package did it's job. :v:
Anyone fancy giving me a game of Dead Nation? ;D
Burnout Paradise is incredible, Burnout is the only racing game that I enjoy, you can keep your gran turismos and F1s.
Been enjoying inFamous a lot. Sucker Punch should be very happy that the whole PSN outage thing has resulted in free advertising for their games. People play inFamous and soon find out that there is a sequel around the corner. I for one, like it a lot so far and the sequel does look quite good.
I wish Borderlands were one of the free games.
best part is now we can take advantage of all the stuff that playing the first game will unlock
That reminds me, does infamous 2 read the save file or game data (a much bigger file) of the first game?
Does anyone know to connect a PS3 from a HDMI to DVI converter, it shows it has a signal on the monitor, but its blank. I tried the holding down the powerbutton till it resets all the setting, and didn't work.
DVI to HDMI works fine. Your cable may be broken. But also, pro-tip. DVI does not support audio so don't do this expecting video and sound.
My screen needs to have HDCP, a fucking DRM. Fucking hell. [editline]5th June 2011[/editline]
DVI to HDMI works fine. Your cable may be broken. But also, pro-tip.
