Again though I'm not complaining because even then people generally always will know "good routes" to take when going to work/whatever that avoid the big clusterfucks and such, even if they don't have the forsight to magically know exactly where a traffic jam is happening.

Or maybe even allow police to set detours if a road is extremely backed up, but I'd bet that the cop would get lost fucking around on the complete other side of the city making things worse.

Yes, you have to be very careful to not have an intersection that is prone to stopping near your highway entrances. Otherwise that will happen. This video was already posted before, but it was enormously helpful in managing traffic. Traffic has gotten noticeably smarter in this patch, but all of this still applies if you want to manage traffic as well as possible. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-8lhpINmXE[/media]

I dont even care all that much about the traffic or population inflation as long we can get size expansions sometime in the future I will feel slightly better about this game
