so, with all the news about modding into offline mode and stuff like that, how long do you think it will take for a crack to come out and have all of this online drm bullshit tacked on for no reason? i'm hoping once it's done that they'll give up and remove always online play, but i doubt their pride will allow them to.

Two weeks.
Well, just bought Simcity and despite being ~12GB, it downloaded in literally 15 seconds, the download probably just broke.
Anyway, add PatrickLB if you guys want to include me in your regions, I haven't played any SimCity in a long long time so I'm probably going to fail a bit.

Hey it has a download manager, you only downloaded 300mb's.
When you start the game, the real download begins.
Yup, just figured that out.
Oh well, downloading at around 8 mb/s so it shouldn't take all that long.
