Lacks coffee, hardly any of us drink tea any more. Not in my neck of the woods anyway, I can't stand tea.
Where i'm from (Swindon), Tea is drunk by pretty much everyone, only a small part of the population drinks coffee. I myself drink it religiously, about 5-6 cups a day.

This here seems to explain almost all the problems the game currently has.

No matter if it's a low/medium/high wealth house or commercial/industrial job? That's retaded!
Ultimately, the problem is that the developers have decided to handle sims like they handle any "mindless" power-agent. This results in mindless sims, and mindless services. Mindless services reduce the actual quality of the simulation. Since no sim actually owns a house, they don't REALLY care what ammenities are built around it. THIS is why it is nearly impossible to have distinct districts of each wealth level... A low-wealth agent may very well end up in a high-wealth house at the end of the day. Why? Because it was the closest open house. The next morning, that agent sets out to find "high-wealth" work. Then after work, may end up in a medium-wealth home with 2 kids! There's no rhyme or reason for the way they behave, OTHER than just taking the shortest (not quickest) path to the nearest open space.
So in a sense it isn't really a true simulation at all, all the agent sims are just mindless drones.
Is it wrong that I'm starting to feel buyer's remorse now?
currently have 169k people in my city, making 10k/hr plus ~100k daily from expo events. no major problems in my city so far, though traffic is quickly becoming a problem.
also 81% approval rating
Wtf? How does that even work :v:
I milked my city dry of money (1.8 million). Decided to keep the plant though.
Gonna rebuild my city.
ALSO, my other account now has a proud new owner :D!
Have you built a city with the DLC? What's it look like? I'm tempted with the UK one.
So I just started playing, any region I can join?
I demolished my city cause I wanted to start fresh. It seems to keep the crime and sickness rates as a 100k+ pop city so you can't even keep up with the amount of shit happening.
lame

I've sort of noticed this a bit after seeing too many Mr. Walkers going into the "Bell Residence" and Mrs. Gutierrezs going into "Palmer Residence". Not to mention the whole 1/4th of your population actually matters in term of working or shopping thing.

I've been wanting to make a crime city and export crime to neighbouring cities. Sort of like crime-tourism.

I see the neighbouring city is participating in Anti-Earth Day.
I don't like how my cities are always darker than everyone else's when I view the region at night
Started a new region in Antarctica with PieClock, but shit hit the fan..
I wasted 50k by building and destructing roads..
I decided to name my city.. LOS SIMOLEONS (in memory of those 50,000 simoleons)

So North Korea has sent a large party of elite men to scout out the neighboring competitor, South Korea.

Damn it, remember the useful sim city sheets from reddit/tumblr that tell nicely how stuff works in terms of growth ? I lost the link again and I need to figure out why one of my city neighbourhoods refuses to be happy.

I'm getting frustrated as I watch my successful, perimeter-maxed cities continue to grow, yet demand more RCI, yet I have nowhere to expand to fulfill the needs, and my +6k/hr turns in to a -2k/hr...
What do?
I even tried making a new city to fulfill the needs of the above-mentioned city, and it worked for a little while as workers commuted, etc... and then the support city overtook the "main city" and started to prosper while the "main city" slowly withered like a dying flower in the sun.
