Is it me, or did the music in the trailer sound a lot like it was Bjorn?
The setting and idea is great in my opinion, it suffers heavily from being a thirdperson shooter tough. I see why they went with 3rd person tough, but still if it was an FPS I'd be more interested to play it for gameplay reasons and not for looking at the scenery.

No. It was Björk.
I dunno, the game looks pretty awesome TBH. No crosshair or hud, looks like you'll also be pulling Drakes Fortune type escapes. It's also a morality game, so you can be good or bad. It's a mix of a few diff games, I'll prolly rent it someday.

Yeah, that's what I meant.
I'm definitely willing to take a look at this. Looks interesting.
Do we even now if it is actual gameplay? The part where the sand collapses and he holds onto this beam while shooting guys doesn't look like gameplay at all.

Considering that the camera follows the character completely and the way he moves looks like he's being controlled, yeah, I'd say that's probably gameplay. Maybe not how it will look in the final game, but it's still gameplay.

Why is the setting stupid? The Specs Ops team is sent into Dubai to save a US squad that the army thinks is still alive.[/QUOTE]
The way it looks in the trailer is absolutely awful, and why the hell would a US squad be stationed in Dubai in the first place? This game will most likely be mindless firefights.

I wish the Killzone series was released on PC, it has so much potential although it's being limited by the PS3.

Holy shit if this belongs to that series it's automatically awesome.
At the start of the trailer, I thought the setting and concept seemed awesome. As the trailer goes on though, it's obviously just a mask for another generic supersoldier-SF dudes fighting an evil PMC game.
I'll try out the demo before I buy this. It looks pretty cool, but I am afraid that it's going to be too generic.
Looks nice.
Generic but nice.
I'd rather they just called it "The Line", sounds better to me than with Spec Ops tacked on.
The trailer just shows me how futuristic Dubai looks

Of course they'll be a hud, that's like saying Brink isn't having a hud because all of the footage at E3 and Eurogamer didn't show one.
That doesn't look like a rescue operation...

Oh god, I had one of those games. It was balls hard and buggy...
If this is anything like that, it should be good (Well, the idea, not the buggy part), but it seems a bit silly. Nice setting, very generic, doesn't look terrible, puzzling story.
There was probably some US bunch in Dubai when the sandstorm hit, maybe they were there to assist in evacuating the city or something for whatever reason? Then the Sandstorm hit and for [plot point] reason they went bad.
I really like the music and atmosphere of the trailer. The concept seems great.
This looks a whole like Uncharted 2 fused with Infamous.
Yay,it's in my country! And yay again, you fight against Americans!
Aww, Dubai wants to censor this game :saddowns:

Well that's not surprising for a country that seriously considered passing a law to prevent people publishing anything that suggested Dubai was suffering from the world's current economic downturn.

Lolol, not trying to be an asshole, but that's retarded. Quality equipment doesn't mean someone can't be a terrorist.
