It's pretty common. Usually found by lava.

Uuum... Guys! I kept digging downwards diagonally and when i got very deep I had to maneuver between these undiggable rocks. And Then I came across a portal to hell :S
But seriously, it's as if earth just ended, I dug one more block down and there was nothing there just Blue. Like the skies. I fell in once, got stuck in time&space, then loaded it again today, I was back in that loophole of time&space but this time some update must have made it so I would loose health so I died. Came back to my base got a bucket, some water and being a reasonable and adventurous guy I thought If I get a waterfall down there I can see what's up without dying. Well, the water didn't go there and I ended up falling out of the water right back to the loophole and died :v: So what the heck is this??

Its just the bottom of the map. He hasn't made a bottom to it so instead of just falling he kills you. Think it as falling into the centre of the earth but with nothing in it.
So, uh. Anyone figure out how to make 64p+ textures without the game placing some animated flames on some of them?
Also, How do you pick up the spider spawners? they keep spawning too fast :S

Impossible ... You have to make a pitfall under or something to kill them :) but you can't pick up spawncages anymore

ah crap... You cant pick them up, you can just destroy them :I
I whipped out mah trusty pickaxe and just whacked at the cage as fast as I could and I could see it breaking, but after I broke it nothing came out :S
Also, couldnt find any pig saddles in the chests

i found 3-4 veins super close to eachother got 3 stacks of 64 : D
