red stuff lets you make wire powder to use logic in stuff like levers and pressure pads to make door mechanisms. Minecarts are just awesome rollercoasters for transportation. No boats yet.
When did people start calling the red stuff cuprite? Such a bad sounding name. Red stuff was much better
When did people start calling the red stuff cuprite? Such a bad sounding name. Red stuff was much better
I say we call it radite!
When did people start calling the red stuff cuprite? Such a bad sounding name. Red stuff was much better
Because cuprite is the closest thing to it in real life. Plus the people that called it thermite made me rage. It doesn't even do what thermite does, goddammit
Damn, I've got no diamond pickaxe :argh:
So if there's no bottom of the map and I went all the way down to the border, Where do I find cuprite?? :S
WAIT border? are you playing /game (new infdev) or are you playing indev? [editline]10:16PM[/editline] ok then rapist santa if your still reading and just INCASE youre not playing on the latest version the cuprite isnt in any other version of the game
There should be thermite torches (not cuprite). The highlight of that is that you can use it underwater and is super bright, but only lasts a small amount of time. Thermite has an oxidizer, so it makes it's own oxygen and can burn underwater.
Santa I've got a tip for you.. Go down into a cave with a difficulty on so you can see monsters. Spam F. This will let you see through the whole map and you will see the locations of the monsters. Make your way there. (Preferably alot of skeletons that are a long way underground. When you reach it simply turn on peaceful. You will now be in a cave with lava (if you choose skeletons) and you will find alot of iron/gold/cuprite or even diamond exploring the caves.

1) One is darker then the other 2) Ores could spawn at the same rate, just more varied. 3) Ores could spawn in different layers of stone.
Thermite is a pyrotechnic composition of a metal powder and a metal oxide, which produces an aluminothermic reaction known as a thermite reaction. Most varieties are not explosive, but can create short bursts of extremely high temperatures focused on a very small area for a short period of time.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermite from wiki. i don't think that the red stuff is thermite but it is cuprite(correct me if i spelt it wrong) video of Thermite
4) We need different layers of stone with light differences in tint, df style. [editline]02:27PM[/editline] Broke my automerge, biatch
almost like adminium so adminium would be the darkest and stone the lightest and other shades inbetween
I agree. And rarity should differ.
Sami, Maybe you could tweak the normal rock (not cobblestone) in your tilepack, it's hard to see iron in it.
