didnt notch say he might implement land ownership using a flag or a set amount of gold? [editline]01:48AM[/editline] that noone but you could build and/or edit blocks within
I hope that there's an option to people to be able to pick up other people's stuff and take stuff from crates while in someone else's land so that locks would actually be necessary. And electrician would actually be a feasible job.
That's actually awfully simple. Your layout really shows how simple it can be. I would try to get the switched next to eachother though.
i thought you couldnt otherwise the signals would get mixed up?
So many locks, but no rooms as strong as the lock. Let's hope that Notch makes some sort of property system.
The door is the limiting factor really. You could make a obsidan room.

Not played for a while, any good servers up, my new laptop can actually run this on 117 fps average with far distance, rather than my old, which could run it 10fps with near distance view.
i thought you couldnt otherwise the signals would get mixed up?
You can get around that problem i think.
You can get around that problem i think.
One of you should test it out. I think you might actually be able to do that without changing the lock at all.

[editline]01:48AM[/editline] that noone but you could build and/or edit blocks within
I hope something like that, and how more cuprite you upgrade the flag with, how bigger the land is (like you place cuprite 10 in, you get 10 blocks to own. I should. If so, you should be able to make real "clans" so everyone can support owning more land.
hey how about a fence block? [editline]02:00AM[/editline] except it would have to be made out of gold otherwise it would be to easy to just make a massive area with a fence around [editline]02:02AM[/editline] like OOO GOG GGG G=GOLD BLOCK O=EMPTY so like a fence thing (might be overkill with a gold block though)
One of you should test it out. I think you might actually be able to do that without changing the lock at all.
Uploading pics. It would require slight modification to your current setup though. But it's nothing major.
I made this on campers water treatment plant :v: water turbine or whatever Jammys video
Uploading pics. It would require slight modification to your current setup though. But it's nothing major.
It's not my setup. I don't even own the game :v:
When it's done!
So how much more do you think you have left?
Found my first treasure room, broke the mob spawner... and got nothing :crying:
isnt it zesty lemons' [editline]02:05AM[/editline] Watermelon blocks! [editline]02:05AM[/editline] oh and you should have a block that wire signals cant go through (would be REALLY helpful)
I initially tried to just have one wire run lower than the other and cover it with blocks. Turned out it would still pass energy to the wire next to it, but only if it was lower. It wouldn't power the wire if it went up.
A little comparison
I made this on campers water treatment plant :v: water turbine or whatever basically water looping, watch it you niggers Jammys video repost new page (User was banned for this post ("Racism" - Jimbomcb))
A little comparison
i like how you didnt change the design at all (i know its your intention but i like it)
A little comparison
I love the way the dirt and grass look. Could you pretty please upload that?
Ok, remember it's still WIP bonus high res paintings:
i like how you didnt change the design at all (i know its your intention but i like it)
The normal one is much more blurry, this one has more detail.
lol it almost makes me think i should get glasses when it changes to the original
A little comparison [img_thumb]http://www.cubeupload.com/files/cb0200com.gif[/img_thumb]
:psyboom: That's amazing
I initially tried to just have one wire run lower than the other and cover it with blocks. It wouldn't power the wire if it went up.
actually, that seem do'able edit: nevermind, my wireing was set up a bit diffrently, so i would need to redo the whole room. But it would work.
Ok, remember it's still WIP
Thanks :woop: Now, I just replace terrain.png with that and it'll work, right?
the cuprite inventory image reminds me of the fire salts in oblivion
[IMG_thumb]http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c98/sami1337/Screen-shot-2010-07-05-at-60157-PM.png[/IMG_thumb] [IMG_thumb]http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c98/sami1337/Screen-shot-2010-07-05-at-60147-PM.png[/IMG_thumb] I initially tried to just have one wire run lower than the other and cover it with blocks. Turned out it would still pass energy to the wire next to it, but only if it was lower. It wouldn't power the wire if it went up.
Could you just try this, and see if it works as a lock? I don't have the game, but I really want to experiment with this. I think it might work, because it would only matter if blocks with torches on them received energy when they shouldn't S = switch T = torch B = block C = cuprite D = door SBC SBCCBTCD SBTC Combination should be off off on.
