I know SO many people have asked this before. But I nevered payed attention. Can somebody tell me where to find the texture files for the blocks and paintings. I would like to do a little tweaking for myself. Thanks in advanced.

It's in the OP, under "how do I make my own texture packs" or whatever I called it.
Terrain.png is in the root folder of minecraft.jar
The paintings are in one of the other folders

I have uninstalled and reinstalled java many times now. i have tried deleting temporary files and etc but nothing helps. and im using Windows XP SP3 in english language.
