How do you find iron ore in survival? I have a hard time finding it and I have died twice with the bits I did have from creeper sneak attacks.

Made a little save game manager for fun, it currently only makes backups of the selected world, so I don't know if I'll release it yet, it could be a lot better.

I got an idea, make your base normally, then put a another layer of stone 1 cube away from your base and then fill the cavity between your base and the outer layer of stone with lava, that way if someone tries to break through your house walls they get a face full of lava.
Would anyone like me too make a diagram of all 7 of the major gates for the OP?
I haven't seen one in this thread thus far.
I try to join the server and all I get is a backscreen with music or a can't connect error.

The best idea I've had is a layer of stone followed by one of gravel/sand then one of lava/water or whatever, then another layer of sand/gravel then another layer of stone. It would take too long for one person to realistically use as a defense for a massive castle/city but on the smaller scale it would work nicely.

I covered the basics on 16 and was considering making a tutoral video, but if you want to make your own go ahead.
I just stopped with my pictures because the wiki now has basic diagrams up, and pretty much everyone's on the same page as far as the basic gates are concerned. There's room to put in the new tiny SR NOR latch, NAND latch, and XOR, though.
