I just said, it's just a stretched version of 5:4 and the most obvious example is how the loading screen acts like it has been zoomed in.

I was never interested in this game at all and really never heard much about it until 2 weeks ago and I still don't really know what it is except that it looks like an underground STALKER. What's the gameplay like? Anything to compare it to? Is it as good as STALKER?

i would say along side CoP its the best sp fps so far this year, doesnt really compare to stalker gameplay wise, its linear but there are mutiple routes through areas and areas to explore for weapons/ammo/currency. brix will be shat when your playing and some monster jumps out and grabs you

I'm not entirely sure why my friend says people are having trouble maxing it with a 5850 when I have everything on highest at 1080p and Direct X 11, no AA though.
I get around 25+ fps without fraps running.

I find it looks worse, but plays better in dx 11. I get 3 less fps in dx 10 but it does look better to me.

I didn't really like STALKER that much. It was a good game, but I got bored of it fairly fast.

I hate those fucking things. You can sneak past them apparently but I never trusted them so I shot every single one.
I ran out of ammo and I had to kill the last one with a throwing knife. My ammo supply never recovered.
