An escort mission? Really? Was this necessary? God damn it.
You're holding the button, right?
Yea. I was so angry yesterday that I held it in for literally 5 minutes. EDIT: It seems to be an issue with the filters. Once you run out, you can't take the mask off. Unfortunately, I'm in the station with the Commies, and can't acquire a filter, and I can't fight the Reds with a huge crack down my screen. "Artyom! Take off your mask so you can see" "I can't, I has no filters"
I'm being sarcastic. [editline]08:24PM[/editline] I hate those fucking things. You can sneak past them apparently but I never trusted them so I shot every single one. I ran out of ammo and I had to kill the last one with a throwing knife. My ammo supply never recovered.
glad i bought a heavy suit before i fought them, should have got a new gun as well, the vintorez and even shotgun are a bit weak

I practically had to run for my life during that level.
They better of put "get out of here stalker:
An escort mission? Really? Was this necessary? God damn it.
Hey, at least the person wasn't telling you to defend the position or something while escorting.
finished it, got the ending where [sp]you missiled them[/sp]. Thought it was pretty average and the end part with the [sp] moving floors [/sp] etc reminded me of penumbra for some reason. Suprised how short It was and that there was the huge metro map on the load screens yet you don't really see much.
Are there any console commands for this game yet? I'm physically unable to play this game with my screen cracked so bad.
I need help with the part where you [sp]blow up the tunnel or ventilation duct... can't find the place in the tunnel where you blow it up, but I think I've found the duct.[/sp]
I need help with the part where you [sp]blow up the tunnel or ventilation duct... can't find the place in the tunnel where you blow it up, but I think I've found the duct.[/sp]
first find the bomb...then look for these little fuse like holding things on the sides...Then..RUN LIKE FUCKING HELL
The default FoV is absolutely horrible. If you change it to 90, enjoy tunnel vision and ear arms. 75 is perfectly fine though. Anyone know what the screenshot button is?

Is it optimized well? Because judging by the screenshots, it doesn't look like I could run it very well with 2 GB of buttRAM, nVidia 9500 GT and an AMD Athlon 3500 2.2 GHz
I can't continue any longer, I've ran out of gas mask filters. what can i do?
I think there is only one ending.
was under the impression there is 2 atleast due to if you let it [sp]catch you, you end up falling from the tower[/sp]??
was under the impression there is 2 atleast due to if you let it [sp]catch you, you end up falling from the tower[/sp]??
That's a game over.
That's a game over.
hm, even more disappointed then...

I Bought this game this Morning. I was too impatient to wait for the gamespot reviews. So I went with my gut and bought it anyway. I was too sure I was going to enjoy it. And I am. It's not one of those mindless shooters where when you turn to the next corner you can easily predict enemies waiting for you there. Metro 2033 is more about exploration in the perspective of life in the underground. And in my opinion it does a great job in catching that feeling. The games great, barely in the 3rd chapter but I fucking love it. First game I ever bought without reading a review or looking at its scores. Feel great about it too.
first find the bomb...then look for these little fuse like holding things on the sides...Then..RUN LIKE FUCKING HELL
There is no such thing.

How many chapters are there? I'm on chapter 4, I just [sp]put the tape to transmit about that one station being overrun, I'm getting absolutely sick of mutants, especially the annoying ones from the escort mission. Fuck those.[/sp]
I can't continue any longer, I've ran out of gas mask filters. what can i do?
There's [sp]7 or 8[/sp] chapters.
reload at a station and buy some?
I would like to know how well it would work on a computer like that as well because my laptop has something comparable to a 9500GT but it has a Core 2 Duo
Some dude posted this couple pages ago http://www.yougamers.com/gameometer/10383/ It'll run your systems specs against the minimum, recommended, and optimized requirements and give you a report based on each of your components much like systemrequirementlabs.
reload at a station and buy some?
At that point i didn't have any money to buy any. so it would be pointless.
The [sp]Escort[/sp] mission isn't really that bad, the rate at which you can turn is decreased and you can't run, but that's all. Nothing else changes. Plus you get the ability to know when an enemy is coming.

This librarians thing is starting to piss me off. Seriously all I have is two throwing knives and that whole "look into their eyes and don't attack" is bullshit because they still punch me to death. [editline]10:47PM[/editline] I even pulled my gasmask off and started staring at the thing and it jumps over to me and punches my face in.
