Yea. Nothing of gasmask sorts found [sp]but I did find some NVG's.[/sp]

How can you change the FOV? It's terrible at 1680x1050, it seriously makes my eyes hurt.
There is a command for 'sick_fov' in the config file, but changing it does nothing.
I wish this wasn't linear. I'd so be a part of the communist faction.

Favorite Level:
The Red-Nazi Front. I swear, the idea of Neo-Soviets and Neo-Nazi Russians fighting in a subway system after the end of the world for a desperate land grab is the greatest thing ever. My favorite parts are with (Minor spoiler.) [sp]The Panzer Tanks.[/sp] which are plain badass, the Nazi's alone are badass as is, their uniforms, everything.
Least Favorite Level:
Library, wasted all my ammo killing the dumb gorilla things. Fuck. Scary too. Any mission where they send you out alone I didn't have fun on really.
Most interesting level:
The level where Khan guides you through the subway. It was so atmospheric.

I don't know, I just don't understand on any level how they look alike.
I could understand how they may seem alike in some ways, like the references to Stalker they hide here and there and some of the events, or quotes are paying respect to the game, but graphically, it doesn't look like Stalker, even if Metro 2033 is better graphically. I just don't see it.

It's not the same engine. They used some code for the lighting when they first started developing it, but that's about it.

Believe it or not, the second Librarian you come across I fucked up with a single throwing knife. Strafed around a pillar, threw a knife into his face, strafe strafe strafe, grabbed the knife out of his face, repeat.
ffffff just tried using the trainer for the hell of it and apparently I have the wrong .exe to run int :argh:
I'll try to find a work around for it.

Bought this today. It's freaking amazing. The detail on everything is just incredible.
So I have good news and bad news
Good news: I may have found a way past the bad MD5 check in the .exe when you run the compatibilty option with the trainer
Bad news: I can't mention how to do said method.
Confirmed, can't use trainer without doing method that I can't say :saddowns:
Also infinite ammo doesn't affect throwing knives :\ gonna have to see if I can somehow use Cheatengine or something to edit it
Where's BOLOpatch at, we need a METROpatch now.

Either run as fast as you can, killing soldiers and stealing their gasmasks as you go, or reload the level from the menu screen, which should give you a couple of filters to carry on with.

The amount of these shits in the library is way beyond reason.
So I found a way to increase military bullets, went to vendor and tried to buy as many throwing knives as possible, MOTHERFUCKER WOULD ONLY SELL ME 5 SDFSD
For those wondering how
1. Cheatengine 5.6 - [url]http://www.cheatengine.org/downloads.php[/url]
2. Check to see how many military bullets you have. I found the easiest way is to start at the Riga chapter where you are having the drinks and the guy gives you +30 bullets. It'll tell you then
3. Open Cheatengine 5.6 and click on the flashing green computer with a magnifying glass icon
4. Double click metro2033.exe
5. Go to the subfield "Value:" and enter the amount of military bullets you have
6. Click new scan
7. Wait for it to finish, it'll come up with like a billion different findings. Don't worry this next step narrows it down
8. Go to the arms dealers in Riga that sell the guns and stuff
9. Now buy something that is say 10 bullets
10. Go back to Cheat engine and go to the "Scan type" option. Press the down arrow and choose "Decreased value by...". Enter 10 and hit Next Scan
11. Repeat steps 9 and 10. Remember, do not add up the amount that has been taken away. If you spend 10 bullets enter 10 bullets in the value. If you spend another 10 bullets then put 10 bullets, etc
12. It should now come up with one or two values. The one value that I got was 11DC16D4 but this could vary each time so don't expect it to be the same.
13. double click that value so it shows up in the bottom portion
14. Right click it, go to Change record, value, then enter a number. I entered 200000 but only ended up getting like 15k...weird. Then press OK
15. Go back in game and you SHOULD see the new value of bullets there
This doesn't work 100% of the time so it will take some trial and error to do.
I'm gonna see how I can get more knives now.
I've kinda come to a dead end about the knives :\ so I don't know if someone else wants to pick up where I left off or what but yeah whatever.
