cool ok
I'm stuck at the part where you're supposed to get past the Communist frontlines and over into fascist territory. [editline]02:26PM[/editline] Are there any walkthroughs or guides for this yet?

This will let you sneak across virtually undetected.[/sp]
Well the escort mission was kind of annoying at first, but you get used to it, it wasn't that hard, even on hardcore. Well the Frontline sneak part is kind of hard.
Fuck this game, too many fucking bugs, the voice acting is cringe worthy, and the gameplay is good at times, until they throw in a gimmick to it to fuck up the fun. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but this bullshit sub-chapter "Child" is just an abomination of a bad idea. "Hey I'm a guy who just survived an attack on a station and need to send a distress signal to a higher up stat-LOOK A KID I WANT TO SAVE HIM AND NOT MYSELF SO I CAN MAKE FOR A PLOT DEVICE" give me a fucking break.
I don't see the problem everyone is having with the level. It was short and easy. He was one of the least annoying videogame kids too, and he also warned you if you were going to get attacked from behind.
Is it worth getting rid of the semi auto shotgun for the Tsar spear shooting gun?
For the library, hell yes. There's bolts scattered all around, and you can reuse them.
So is there a mod out that removes the ugly photoshop noise/wave effect on the side of your goggle vision?
Why? It's there to indicate your mask is cracked to hell or the filter is running out.
the trolley combat mission is fucking hard. im at my 40 try to get past that mission :c!
Where you run into the guy with the light in the tunnel, and then 50 kajillion other people and you have to take cover behind the armor? Can't fucking get it.
Playing on Easy because I'm not used to these sort of games. :c Also, I'm glad to say that I rather enjoy Metro 2033, it's like STALKER minus the mindless walking about and lack of voice acting. I've only just stopped playing because I hit the part where you're in the Library trying to get past the god damn Librarians.

That part was easy for me.. just prepare pipe bombs and keep chucking them onto the platform to kill the nazis. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_I0O2UV3Uc There is a video of the bug I had.
Haha yeah i just got it. The cart was going really slow for whatever reason, but i don't thing it was bugged, just stupidly challenging. i spammed pipe bombs out the wazoo and used 5 med kits. But i made it.
cool ok
buy it for me bedsponce!!

I came out with no ammo or medkits. I also finished tonight.
M34 will be in St. Petersburg. ♥
Well, just beat the game. Are there really alternate endings?
The part with the anomalies is not possible, there's just way too many of them.
The part with the anomalies is not possible, there's just way too many of them.
Which part?
Clearly you have not either, because as much as you want to believe it, the sounds aren't from it... Please, get me a video comparison if your so willing to prove your point.
The game has many sounds that appeared in Half Life 2. But that's because it's a sound library that games use. Some sounds, and all tracks were created by Valve in Half Life 2, but they used Sounddogs library for the special effects.(All physics impacts, etc...) So perhaps they used the same library for Metro 2033, which is very likely because it is probably the most popular one.
Dude [sp]carrying this kid is super fucking annoying[/sp] It's like fighting lurkers after downing a bottle of vodka.
Which part?
The part where you [sp] reach the D6 operating room, the power goes off, so you go with Miller to run it manually.[/sp]
The part where you [sp] reach the D6 operating room, the power goes off, so you go with Miller to run it manually.[/sp]
[sp]Shoot the crater-y things that the orbs come out of. They stop spawning if you do.[/sp]
[sp]Shoot the crater-y things that the orbs come out of. They stop spawning if you do.[/sp]
Oh, makes sense. Thanks!
[sp] Can anyone tell me about the endings? I know of the nuke part, is there any "Bad" ending other then falling off the crane? [/sp]
[sp] Can anyone tell me about the endings? I know of the nuke part, is there any "Bad" ending other then falling off the crane? [/sp]
[sp]I was wondering about this too. Falling and dying can't really be considered an ending, since it sends you to the load screen, but I don't really see what other endings there could have been.[/sp]

But every time I let him run too far, I would slow down. Hardcore mode wasn't all that hard, you just can't run through it. Also the D6 level with the blob ball things, just shoo the center of their bodies, makes them explode quicker.
the trolley combat mission is fucking hard. im at my 40 try to get past that mission :c!
fuck this shit im still stuck. can someone help me?

Hello guys, has anyone complete mission in d-6 with cran under a reactor? my cabin always destroyes
Obviously, since people have finished the game.
There are 2 endings that I know of: Ending Choice One: [sp]After defeating the "Dark One" you can watch him reach out for the laser tripod thing and then die soon after. Then you watch as the nukes launch from a distance and fly over you and destroy the "Dark Ones" home. Leaving your character wondering what it was the "Dark Ones" were trying to tell you.[/sp] Ending Choice Two: [sp]After defeating the "Dark One" you notice him reaching to the laser tripod thing, you can shoot the tripod which will cause it to fall off the building. The nuke doesn't launch and you spare the "Dark Ones". This is when you find out from the dying "Dark One" that they want peace with the humans. I'd call this the "Good Ending"[/sp]
