[QUOTE=Wakka;20829872]M34 will be in St. Petersburg. ♥

That map is outdated. Moreover, they haven't released a book about Petersburg's Metro yet.
There is so much to loot on the surface. Exploring is plain fun.

The guy by the window should beckon you over, once you walk up to him a 'bitch' (lol) will try to grab the corpse.
[editline]10:34PM[/editline]
I think only then can you proceed to the next room.
[editline]10:35PM[/editline]
Unless it's the one where you shoot the plank blocking the door or shoot the chandelier to smash the door open.

The Child Escort mission is easy, just move tactically and fast.

The mouse lag to add the feeling of the weight of the child on your back is a bit of a pain in the ass though, made my eyes feel a bit wierd everytime I turned but it's not too bad. Got through the section pretty easily. Kid didn't warn me about some of the things behind my back though >:(
You don't even have to stay and kill these things, they just run away as soon as you look at them, or shoot them.
Finished it last night.
Seemed a bit short but it was good, although I wish you could tinker with the graphics more and it would be better if the Nazis actually sounded like Germans.

They're not really Germans, at least I don't think so.
Neo-Nazis methinks; correct me if I'm wrong please thanks.

No, you're right.
The Nazis there are Russians.

Sometimes they do, some times the little shits still attack me. Out of stabbing range with the bayonet/shotgun thing too, have to crouch to stab lol

Yeah had one or two stubborn ones, still that walk is rather short, so it's not a big deal.

Yeah think I had my pre-war ammo on by accident anyway so they only took 1 or 2 shots with the VSS unscoped thing to kill them anyway. :)
Yay installing. Can't wait to play

Damn I didn't know that
I wasted over half my ammo on that section of the game
Too bad this game is linear.
I guess I got spoiled by sandbox games in which you can explore stuff, and forgot that strict-storyline games exist, but this is exactly the type of game I'd love to keep exploring.
The level design is really great, especially inside the tunnels.
I've gotta go into the tunnels by myself now. I'm scared. :(
[QUOTE=Watevaman;20833305]I've gotta go into the tunnels by myself now. I'm scared. :([/QUOTE]
Yeah, it's a little bit poo having to go out by yourself but at least it's not all the time, that's what I like about this. Sometimes you have a buddy with you which makes you feel a bit more at ease.
I'm not as scared of the monsters as I am about using up all my ammo. This game is the best I've ever seen in the FPS genre about conservation of supplies. I find myself always waiting for the enemies to get as close as possible so I'm guaranteed a headshot.

Throwing knives are quite usefull in that regard, I'm not using crosshairs so getting someone with a great shot from a throwing knife is quite satisfying.
Mine crashes right when I open it through Steam. No error message.
Going to try to validate cache.
[editline]07:04PM[/editline]
It was Steam running in administrator mode that fucked it up.
Damn this game is gorgeous, might just be a contender for actually being able to BEAT crysis... I'm probably getting my hopes up for nothing here but, after you beat the game, what happens? Does it just end or does it leave you to wander around? I know the answer will most likely be NO, it ENDS, but might as well ask.
