I passed by a gamestop with the intention of getting it for my 360 since my computer wouldn't handle it anymore, but I decided to not spend 60$. Now I'm thinking that I should get it. :psyduck:

Why do people always call it a Fallout [i]3[/i] ripoff?
I mean, FO1 and 2 were both post-apoc. Its sad people don't recognize those two, great games, and only know of the series by Bethesda's game (which I still loved :D).

Played my second run by primarily using the scoped Helsing. Damn great weapon.
For folks looking to access the alternative ending, doing good deeds like giving ammo to beggars isn't the only way to build up 'karma' to earn it. You'll notice occasionally that after an event or action, the screen will flash briefly and you'll hear a high pitched but quiet whistle sound. This indicates that you're building up karma. Listening to enemy conversations, discovering corpses or even interacting with the guitars at the beginning will earn you the karma necessary to get the alternative ending. You might even lose some karma at points (I've only noticed this by apparently annoying a npc and by finding Bourbon on my own) which will cause the screen to briefly contrast and produce a low pitched horn-like sound. You'll know if you've acquired access to the alternative ending if [sp]you hear Khan's voice tell you the last thing he said to you after you wake up from killing the Dark One and you listen to the auto guidance system count down to missle launch.[/sp]
Lastly, does the Sherlock achievement come from finding the 5.56 ammo at city stations or throughout the whole game? I'm carefully combing through all locations for the ammo. So far, I've found 4 pickups in "Let the Journey Begin,' 17 pickups in "Bourbon," and 16 in "Market."

I've heard that the game follows the book a tad too much...but is otherwise a great game.
