I might not have been looking, but I thought there was only an armored suit at Polis.
You don't really need too much stealth after that anyway.
Yeah. I just did that part again and there's only an Armored suit in Polis. Also, it's that last time you can get a better suit, so do it.
[sp]I got the ending where I nuked the Dark Ones ass and I thought to my self "YEAHHHH KILL DARK ONES!" but then I realized I got the bad ending and I thought "Darn."[/sp]
Can anyone give me advice on this?
I have been looking at this game for a while and it looks absolutely fantastic but I dont think my computer will run it
here are my specs im being rather optimistic that it MIGHT work
cpu: AMD 2x 3.1ghz
video card: nvidea 9600gt 512 mb
RAM: 1.5ghz

You'd be very lucky to get it on Low
You'd be very lucky to get it on Low
I have worse specs and I ran it fine on Normal
I bought the game retail today, since paying 5 bucks extra in tax got me the box. Registered it on steam and downloading now. Hopefully this game will be worth my money.
With the stealth suit, you don't have to crouch in order to sneak as the suit muffles your footsteps and you can walk normally and go unseen. I did my second stealth based play through using the Helsing. Damn great all-round weapon. For my recent stealth venture, I tried to primarily use the Tihar and bought over a grand of ammo for it. That damn gun leaves much to be desired after the enemies start sporting helmets. I'm going to go for a brute that relies on an Uboyneg with a bayonet next.
By the way, are there any artistic folks here that could make a desktop wallpaper out of the final scene when the credits roll after you spare the Dark Ones? That scenery is absolutely breathtaking.

Oh sweet! You've got 1.5 GHZ of RAM, I wish I was you.
I had to stop playing tonight, it's just too scary.

What part are you at?
I just imagine I'm a total badass, and run through that shit hardcore-like. :smug:
Because it's so linear I don't know what they are going to do with the DLC.
The other books are Metro 2033: Travel Features and Metro 2033: Dark Tunnel. There's also Metro 2034 but that wouldn't make sense to be DLC.
Edit: Forgot about Metro 2033: Peter, but I'm not sure if that's out yet in Russia. The titles mentioned above are also not translated in English yet.
So far so good, this game is absolutely amazing.

What do the plots of those other Metro 2033 books revolve around/involve?

There are mutated rats or something that keep burrowing when I look at them and then they attack me when I'm not looking.
i almost died IRL playing this game.

Right after the little kid jumps on your back? I found them annoying if anything.

Modern Warfare?
What is this going smoking? Seriously. Dull graphics? No shit you idiot it's on the 360. Poorly Animated? MW2 was half of what Metro 2033 was animated was, if not even that.
"Just doesn't do it for me" ...? What do you want in a atmospheric game, people running around with dual glocks and kids shouting over their mics going "ALALALALALLALA" or some shit.
This guy is a uber idiot that shouldn't be reviewing games. I'm not a fanboy, nor am I butthurt. I didn't particularly like the game myself, but this guy is just idiotic and brings up false points.

"I had no idea I'd be fighting monsters"
What a dumbass, there's a monster ON THE COVER OF THE GAME, doesn't that even give a hint to him what might be in the game? :derp:
"The game is boring"
I closed the video at that point.
I finished this game. I think it's good.

Depends on your OS. You'll need at least 2 GB's of ram to do ANYTHING on Vista/W7, especially play games. Ontop of that, your card isn't too bad, it can run the game better than my 9500GT. Also, your CPU looks fine. You could probably run it on medium/high on max monitor res or 1024x768.

I agree with him, and no he's not an idiot it's his (and my) opinion, though I did like the bit with the cart going down the track and the monsters chasing, and I'm only into the start so maybe I will change my mind more into the game.

THIS GAME HAS MONSTERS SO IT'S A DUKE NUKEM RIP OFF
/caps
thats like calling half life a doom rip off cause they both have shotguns.
It made me a bit upset that you can't get the railgun. I think Miller runs around with it in D6.
So are you.

Ok that part was dumb.

This. I really wanted that railgun.
Also, I played through the entire game not knowing that there were certain 'deeds' you could preform to change the outcome of the game.
Don't get me wrong, this game overshoots a lot of other games in attention to detail like the wind on the surface making your gun wave as you aim down the sights at somebody.
But the stealth system needs an overhaul, apparently, if one person sees me right before I kill him, every other NPC in that level instantly knows where I am, and where I ran to hide.

Oh I see an enemy
On Radio "Enemy Spotted under the stair well"
You kill him
It is as easy as that. Don't get spotted.
