Yeah, it's a real, commercial game (made by 4A Games, who were making STALKER before they formed their own company).

I just beat it, [sp]Why the fuck did I just blow up 1/4 of moscow?[/sp]
Other way around, 4A Games were devs that split off from GSC Game World.
Yeah, that's what I meant. Sorry if my wording didn't make that clear.
How would one pronounce the title? I mean, Fear the Future in Russian.
I just beat it, [sp]Why the fuck did I just blow up 1/4 of moscow?[/sp]
It was [sp]Dark One town[/sp].
I loved this game, also I liked the Russian accent speaking english and Russians speaking Russian! Not like a fucking infinity ward makes them sound, like some arabs speaking Russian usually. If you understand 100% russian you will know what I mean.
Russians trying to speak in English. :geno:
I want to try playing Cryostasis without having 10 fps. But I might have to play on low, which wouldn't make it much worth it kinda :(
If only the AI where better and the maps would have been better designed (gameplay wise visually it is top notch) This game would be perfect. I hope they make an open world game of this theme. AKA Stalker gameplay in the Metro World.

AKA Stalker gameplay in the Metro World.
While it would be cool, it would just make the game deviate from its originality in that it's a post-apocalyptic game that's not open world. And it would also give even more people the impression that it's a copy of STALKER.
Alright, so I can get this game or Battlefield Bad Company 2. Which one do you guys think I should get?
This is a great game but BC2 will last you a lot longer [editline]06:13PM[/editline] Also is there anyway I can change the language to Russian with English subtitles if I've already installed the game?
How many hours does it take to beat the game on normal?
BC2. Metro's great, but I don't think its quite worth the price tag. Buy BC2 now, wait for metro's price to drop.
How many hours does it take to beat the game on normal?
Roughly 10 or so hours. My first time through it was closer to 12, but I've heard people do it half that time as well.
Strah budushchego
it'd help him if you wrote it in phonetics...
Go to game options, there should be a voice-over language setting and subtitle language setting.
Huh. Never knew that.
Cryostasis will blow you out of the chair.
Really now? Thanks for the recommendation, comrade. Some of you probably already noticed it, but there's a Dark One that appears, in the flesh I might add, just on top of the little building directly after the playground scene in the first Dead City segment. Anyone else notice if they make any other G-Man-like appearances anywhere in the game outside of the hallucinations?
So has anyone seen what is possible with the modding tools yet?
Skins so far.

How do you kill demons? I want the achievement to kill two of them, but even when I empty 15 shotgun shells into them, they don't die.
You will be able to do that later in the game.
But I've already completed the game, and I'm replaying it. I've never killed a demon all this time, no matter how hard I've tried.
I love this game so much. My favorite part was when [sp]When you had to climb to the top of the tower to blow up the place[/sp]
Rented it out for Xbox 360. First impressions were mediocre, but the game really grew on me the further I got in. The "horror" aspect of the game is really lacking, it's more horror themed action. However, the setting is great, and the entire game really does feel like scavenging and fighting for survival, be it against monsters or fellow humans. On that note, the human firefights are fucking outstanding, great AI for the most part and every fight was fucking hard. However, the stealth shits me off to no end. It's all well and good until you actually kill somebody, underpowered bullets don't penetrate the shitty helmets, and even if you completely kill them before they can get a shot/radio report off, EVERY fucking rusky bastard knows EXACTLY where you are, regardless of where they are. It annoyed me to the point where if there was an area where I couldn't sneak past without killing motherfuckers, I just said fuck it, went loud and killed everyone. Also who was bitching about librarians earlier? They're piss easy to kill: semi-auto shotgun + aim for the head.
