Ah hell this is going to be hard. There was a lot of awesome games back then but my favorites have to be the Crash Bandicoot series, Tombi 2 and of course Digimon world 1.

I agree, I loved these games because you were nearly never dissappointed with'em, that you could randomly pick out a game and be excited and it would be worthwhile.
