You can't just learn pvp over night, you've got to practice lining up your damage, communicating crowd control, telling partners when you're vulnerable etc.
I pissed off my raid last night by going over every small detail of my new cape and why it was better than my old one including it's model, color, design and stats in /me.

/e 's new cape is green with a black border
/e 's new cape matches his hair
/e 's new cape has 13 more Strength than his old cape
/e 's new cape will have 33 more Strength than his old cape when he gems it
/e is glad his new cape has expertise because he was running low on that

I know how to PvP. Very well actually.
Again, I was talking about the class as a whole at the moment, not myself personally.
For example, look at the arena ladders. Death Knight is the least used class, I wonder why?

If you die in PvP lots as a DK, then instead of bitching to Blizzard about it,
1) Gear better
2) GET better
3) Both
4) Re-roll
5) Don't PvP.

Jesus Christ, I'm not talking about myself, about talking about the class as a whole, I do very well in PvP, despite being PvE specced and geared.
But 1v1 against most classes we are pretty bad at the moment.

Try 1v1 vs a healing class, you'll know what I mean.
Healing classes are possible to burst down and if not you can just oom them using death strike healing.

You get a very slight ammount of extra money (something like 10%.)

I'm talking the majority of DKs by the way, not myself, and also, PvP geared, it's fairly easy in PvE gear.

Basically the class as a whole if pretty lame at the moment, PvP wise, maybe a little less so in arena.
PvE dps is fine, Tanking is lame at the moment too, although I've never tanked as Death Knight so I wouldn't really know.

dk takes a degree of skill in pvp now thats why people think theyre underpowered theyre too used to faceroll
i agree dk tanking isnt what it used to be but before the nerfs it was best by far. you still arent the worst tanks though

True, the majority of Death Knights still expect the faceroll that was possible a year or so ago.
Personally, I think we are pretty decent at PvP although, we need a few small buffs. But who am I to say, I've not yet done arena on this character, only BGs in PvE gear.
they just gave us 2% stam back the other day, and i was happy about that little change. that and i think IBF is 10% more damage reduction than it was.

Yeh they buffed frost presence and IBF. I'm not a tank though, so it wasn't anything special for me :v:
