The controls and a few other nitpicky things.
Yeah, the controls were kind of bad, also the fact that they actually kept the controller visual on the PC port was kind of annoying.
Saints Row 2 is bullshit. It's a covered up GTA: San Andreas. It even has the same damn story.
eh
no
Oh fuck yes.
I bet the story in this one will pave the way for Red Faction 1's story.
God no...
SR 2 was the worst game i've ever played
i hope it brings back more customizable gang members, it's always fun seeing black ninja's jump into a beaten down truck and drive off like nothing happened.
fix the cars from disappearing after it goes past you please thanks.
i honestly hope its at least 100 missions this time around and like way more stuff to do because i got bored fast!

Elaborate, Fiend!
fix the cars from disappearing after it goes past you please thanks.
Yes, please.
That was so annoying. "oh a cool sports car" *turns around to catch it* "oh it's gone, guess I'll just take the sedan then" *turns around* "oh, gone."
I thought Saints Row 2 sucked tbh.
You thought wrong.
This is probably my favourite Xbox game, and I strongly preferred it over the realistic and seriousness approach of GTA IV.

No it doesn't.
The only similarities in the story is that you're in a gang and there are enemy gangs, after that it takes a completely different direction.
This is exciting.
sr2 tried so hard to be less boring than gta4 that its actually more boring
bang bang bang there went the gang
sr2 tried so hard to be less boring than gta4 that its actually more boring
I got that feeling too but I still enjoyed it. I got it on sale. I don't think it would have been worth $50. But $20? Sure.
sr2 tried so hard to be less boring than gta4 that its actually more boring
SR2 was the reason I couldn't stay entertained with GTA4.
I played it first and was used to the craziness and exciting gameplay of it and couldn't quite make the conversion to the realisticness of GTA4.
Saints Row 2 is an awesome game, I hope they try on the computer version this time around.
I only bought it cause it was 7$
(pc version)
Should've ended with 2, Perfect ending of it.
I honestly don't get why people like Saint's Row 2. I loved the first one, absolutely, but the second just wasn't that great in my eyes. I would appreciate it. I guess it was just not serious enough for me. It was funny to some people, but I guess I just didn't like the sense of humor the game had.
The cars turned too sharply, the audio quality was horrid, and it ran like shit on my computer that can max out Crysis and Bad Company 2, two games that look much better than SR2.

That's because it was a horrid port.

But yeah, the driving controls annoyed the hell out of me.
Free roam games like GTA and SR rarely seem to have good driving controls, but they are always easy enough to get used to after a few minutes.
GTA has almost always had good controls.
gta has good driving controls, albeit in gta4 all the cars seem to understeer a bit
Oh, guess I can't really differentiate between good and bad driving controls then :v:
:flashfap: Oh mama.
Saints Row 2 was awesome... Even the HORRIDLY optimized for PC version that I played was enjoyable. Saints Row 3 for E3? Sign me up! Sold! I'll take twelve!
Hopefully the PC version doesn't suck large man sacks...
I hope they upgrade the engine a bit. Would be cool and maybe add some weapons.

That's pretty much the opposite of my experience. I played GTA IV first, then played SR2.
SR2 was unappealing from the beginning because of its average graphics and dull lifeless city. The characters were completely 2D and weren't funny, no matter how hardcore the devs tried to portray them as.
The driving and walking mechanics were shit. There wasn't any sense of acceleration.
I could go on but that's not what this thread is about.
I am excited for the new Red Faction as I loved my time with Guerilla. Until it erased my save file :argh:

I have a feeling he was talking about the PC version.
I am very glad to hear this, I'm going to get it for XBOX again as my friend is probably getting it for XBOX too.
