yeah that's a huge waste of effort when i could just make it in a server where a bunch of people already are. plus they can actively climb around on it and examine it from any angle. there is literally no reason to play SP if you can play MP.
You can grief your own house without getting banned.
There needs to be some sort of way to "win".
He's one of THOSE people. You know, the kind that are no good at sandbox games with no definition of winning or losing?
Seems like he sorta contradicted himself
Has anyone here played GMod Survival? That one where you have to forage for supplies and keep yourself alive as long as possible? That's what i envisioned survival to be. Instead it's just sandbox mode. It'd be cool if sandbox mode was kept, and a new REAL survival mode was introduced where there were real risks involved and you had to actively forage for food and shelter to keep yourself alive. You'd only get 1 life and your endgame score would be based on survival time or something. What are you talking about
Your argument about gmod survival to minecraft survival is invalid for you respawn in both and actually in gmod survival when you get your level high enough you keep the stuff you died with, I dont remember since its been a long time since I played but i think your stuff also drops on the ground when you die. The only difference in the two games is their running two seperate engines and the gmod survival has leveling which minecraft is never getting. You also cant win in gmod survival either, sure you can make a big base with a bunch of forges and gun smiths and what not but you can still die and just walk back to it and keep going.

Why is this thread still alive???
The goal is to farm gunpowder and blow everything in sight to smithereens.
I love Minecraft but I have to say that nearly the whole lot of you act like spoiled kids when someone shows up with an alternative viewpoint
I love Minecraft but I have to say that nearly the whole lot of you act like spoiled kids when someone shows up with an alternative viewpoint
Too many people treat minecraft like a finished product.
Too many people treat minecraft like a finished product.
If it's something that's paid for then you have every right in the world to voice your complaints. If it was a free beta I'd be with you telling him to shut up but it isn't free, it's a product that you buy.
I can't believe you're all still posting in here. It's pointless to share what you feel you have to say about a subject based purely on opinion.
-snip, got hacked-
Why don't you come up with your own goals, or just downlaod some mods or play multplayer?
he's a theist... he has to be spoon fed purpose
