The only thing keeping this thread alive is people talking about how dead this thread is or how long it take to create a new build. The only thing that could revive this thread for a few more days is a new update.
I still play this loads. I think the game is fucking brilliant and it can keep me entertained for hours at a time!
he might have just given up. there's that new game they're making and apparently there are plans for CC 2 which will run off the engine of this new game they're making (that i couldn't be shitted about honestly :/)

i didn't actually click on the twitter feed and assumed from your previous post that the twitter feed was now dead.
The post above mine had the feed though
The Dummy Assault gamemode is so fucking hard. The only way I could get through it is by closing off their spawns with a concrete sprayer.
How did I not know this thread existed. I have had the game since it first game out on the Humble Bundle, that was like a year or two ago. Always go play it when I am bored.
I've been playing since B12
The Dummy Assault gamemode is so fucking hard. The only way I could get through it is by closing off their spawns with a concrete sprayer.
Just set up some snipers at the little launch pad where you meet the first dummy.
I usually just send in one bloke with lots of powerful weapons and equipment then use the ol' spray at them off screen tactic [sp](Exploit)[/sp] and crouch through all the air ducts and then throw bombs at the brain
i found out about cc at the right time, when b15 came out. good days.
I've been playing since B12
B13 here. Loved it to death, and I still love to play it with my brother when I'm around.

I find it funny watching the enemies get ripped to pieces when I hit them with some massive bomb. That and ripping them apart with a digger, I love doing that the most.
The AI in this game is so stupid it's funny.
To be fair, the AI does REALLY WELL for the physics engine it has to deal with
Isnt this game just nonstop physics and particle calculations? I am surprised how stable it is.
Isnt this game just nonstop physics and particle calculations? I am surprised how stable it is.
It's the most unstable game ever.
Ok can anybody say the most major changes to the current current build since the one from the humble bundle? Besides a campaign.
I remember reading somewhere that CC would come to steam, possibly via greenlight. Greenlight launched today and I wanted to know if it was true.
It's the most unstable game ever.
It never crashes on my computer. [editline]30th August 2012[/editline]
Ok can anybody say the most major changes to the current current build since the one from the humble bundle? Besides a campaign.
Some new faction shit.
I thought the devs stopped working on this game completely. Wow. You know it's bad when your updates take so long people think you've just stopped. Or didn't they actually stop for a bit?
The game has been in development for like 15 years, I don't think Data is stopping anytime soon. The updates always take a long time, sometimes a year for really big stuff. Yeah I don't even remember what build I first started on, probably 12, like 5 or 6 years ago. I have so many different copys of CC across so many computers, and so many ancient mods its kind of absurd. The game has come a long way since the days where skeletons would pile up on the edges of your bunkers making ramps out of their dead bodies to access the roof. I remember playing with my friends and after 15 minutes the entire screen was dead bodies, and we would dig tunnels through it all and form bases up in the air, then after we restart we wouldn't even recognize the map we were playing.
So, how's that free billing email/ key finding going?
Wasn't it said that CC would be coming to steam in the near future or something?
Wasn't it said that CC would be coming to steam in the near future or something?
If I remember correctly, it was supposed to be around september
Why has this been in alpha for so long? It's been years.
apparently data is really lazy
and release build 1 will most likely be put out before the end of the year [editline]21st September 2012[/editline]
Why has this been in alpha for so long? It's been years.
the game has been in development for more than a decade.
Not "most likely". It will actually be out by the end of the year. [editline]22nd September 2012[/editline] For reals. [editline]22nd September 2012[/editline] http://devlog.datarealms.com/cortex-command/cyber-monday-half-off-coupon-of-cortex-command/ For anyone who hasn't purchased CC yet. [editline]22nd September 2012[/editline] And yes, you will be able to use that to unlock steam version later down the line.

Actually, in a way I'm happy because I've been wanting to buy this for ages and never got around to it, you guys deserve the money.
