Guys, this is set in the future right? Maybe the laws of physics change in the future.
In the future metal gravitates towards humans
Put SceneMan:RevealUnseenBox(0, 0, SceneMan.SceneWidth, SceneMan.SceneHeight, Team)
Into the console after the scene has started. Change team to 0 for red, 1 for green, 2 for blue, 3 for yellow.
That command doesn't work for me for some reason. I just have to change team right? So it would be Put SceneMan:RevealUnseenBox(0, 0, SceneMan.SceneWidth, SceneMan.SceneHeight, 0) ?
But that doesn't work, for me at least.

A group of enemies were trying to break into the brain vault in the sky when all out of sudden, a riot broke out.
Any cool ass mod packs you guys could recommend? Want to add some more factions and shit into the game but don't know which mods work / are any good.
I guess playing cortex command since the builds where you had to throw bars of gold into rockets and fly them away to get money, and rockets would glitch and not die, tearing though the level, really makes you overlook the issues with the game, cause everyone on steam seems to think it's the worst game ever.
Probably because of retards that don't like the graphics style and think it's a game from 1990.
Wow there are so many people raging on Steam about this game, I don't really see why though. Just because it has bugs doesn't mean it's shit, every game has bugs on release.
The ones complaining about soldiers gibbing is just silly too, it's not an annoying bug, it's hilarious :v:
Also Facepunch is going sloooow lately.

I really, REALLY like UniTec, but I'm not sure if it works with the current build
Wait, didn't he post about that two years ago?
Which is standard Data time, but still
Wow, really its been two years? Felt like it wasn't that long ago. Anyway that was just my guess.
I love the clunkyness and the bugs, if anything it's the reason I find it so funny and fun.
I made this for a couple of friends and people who don't know some of the basics, I might aswell chuck it up here, Hopefully it helps someone.

The Coalition soldiers are covered in some super-tough metal armor plating thing, perhaps the metal is magnetic but it's one of the best armor-plating metals in the universe so they kept it anyways?
That game hub is full of angry people. :v:
It's so sad to read the stuff on the game-hub... I really hope Data doesnt read that, as that is an amazing amount of negative feedback, that is not constructive.
If anyone has another HIB Steam key they want to use, I could trade a Nuclear Dawn for it!
I've always loved the demo for Cortex Command, and now that it's on Steam I'm hoping updates happen more frequently.
[editline]30th September 2012[/editline]
OR, do you get a giftable copy of the game if you activate two keys?

Are you blind lol, if you read the comments he has responded on a lot of the threads
Is there any way to just "spectate" and watch the computer play with 2 teams?
That command doesn't work for me for some reason. I just have to change team right? So it would be Put SceneMan:RevealUnseenBox(0, 0, SceneMan.SceneWidth, SceneMan.SceneHeight, 0) ?

Only "SceneMan:RevealUnseenBox(0, 0, SceneMan.SceneWidth, SceneMan.SceneHeight, 0)" without the quotes, Put isn't meant to be there.
You guys know any tricks to increase the performance of the game?
I have a 6 core 3.5ghz processor with a HD6950 and it lags like fuck often.
Get a single core processor.
Get a single core processor.
The game worked better on my really old single core amd 2.4 ghz processor than it usually does on my i7 920 :v:
Would changing the process affinity to 1 cpu only do the trick?
edit: better, but still shit
I've been wondering this for a while, but what does the "Propose Ceasefire" button do?
Feature yet to be added, will propose cease fire to enemy.
We haven't really talked a lot about it, dunno what Data intends for it to do other than for you and an AI to treat eachother as friends.
Could be useful for 1v1v1 battles though.
Do friendly AI players in the campaign do any battling at all? I've never seen one win a battle or send any units to battles it joins me in. It only ever seems to help build bases.

What about the minimap button?

I think you just get more money.
All the buttons on the right click menu must be really confusing to new players, considering only half of them actually do anything

it's honestly offensive how unfinished this game is despite being sold for $20 on steam.
[editline]30th September 2012[/editline]
only reason i have it is because of the humble indie bundle. i'd never pay money for this. i've seen freeware with more polish and a timely release schedule.
i can't believe how the game introduces itself, either. when you hit "start campaign" it basically says "we're calling this 1.0 and charging you $20 despite this game being nowhere near finished, LOL THX FOR THE MONEY"
[editline]30th September 2012[/editline]
oh and the icing on the cake. i tried to take a screenshot of the text that mentioned how it was unfinished despite being 1.0, and realized the steam overlay wouldn't even work.
