to the enemy AI team who successfully dropped and returned a rocket mk1 to orbit

Yeah, craft AI is something that's been improved thousandfolds.
I just got my key on steam.
Can you still crab bomb?

You actually can crabbomb again.
what was that one mod where you had like, complete control over your world, you could like pick up units and throw them, cut them in half, cut terrain, shit like that, it had a green color scheme is all I can remember.
I absolutely love the damage hitboxes and the fact that I can deliberately have my legs shot off to lose weight and fly around the map with a gatling gun giving no shits.

Crap, I don't remember the name, but the rte's called Computer.rte if that helps :suicide:
Alright got it, http://forums.datarealms.com/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=17138
UniTec is probably the most polished 'large' mod I've seen for CC yet.
Darkstorm will always be my favourite and a must for new installations, and the maker is back on the forums now so it should be updated fairly soon

i just miss those tank-like heavy darklones, they pretty much made all the other mod weapons overpowered in an attempt to be able to easily take them down
For the past week I've had this dilemma with myself weather to play CC or do my physics homework. Now it's due tomorrow.

Cortex Command is mostly physics right?

Also War to End All Wars is best mod.
That feeling when you spend all your money on buying units just to see them all drop in parachutes

Ride of the Valkyries played in my head
Is there a mod that lets crabs pick up guns
Yes

can you select large groups of people and tell them to go somewhere instead of having to select each person at a time?

There was a mod for that
I swear the AI bodies take more of a beating than my own guys
I cant seem to log into my account on Datarealms or recover it to get my key, so I guess I am fucked and will have to buy the game again. To be fair it has been about 3-4 years since I touched the game, I forget how long ago it was since I bought the damn thing, I believe it was shortly after it went up for sale.
Any idea if they delete inactive accounts or something?

The opposite is true for me. I'll fire three magazines at a basic AI unit and be lucky to do 20 points of damage point blank. My rounds seem to gravitate to the armor locations. Then they'll shoot me a few times and blow up my gun and sever one or both of my legs. Usually I end up trying to hurl my limbless torso at them in hopes of crushing them beneath my blood and tears and excrement.

No he said the same thing as you, he said that the AI takes more hits than the player.
Maybe its just because they're better shots

So he did. I read it differently initially.

I've been playing the game for awhile. I'm an accurate shot on the run, and in the air. It's the bullet deviation that seems unusual sometimes.
So, can someone explain to me why crab bombs are so effective? From what I've seen, dropping 15-20 crabs in a crate seems to kill pretty much everything, no matter how protected by terrain--including my brain! Why does this happen?

There's a limit to how many actors there can be at a time. If it goes over that limit other actors are removed.

But it's not the live crabs that kill things, it's the gibs when they die and are expelled violently from the crate. Like, as soon as the crabs start dying, units across the map explode into gibs. It doesn't make any sense.
i think if you put enough crabs into a rocket it literally overloads the physics engine
