Can probably cloak ESFs too. I don't have a turbo so I wouldn't know. Actually class abilities for vehicles in general may be a nice feature.
So is there anything the default cannon for the lightning is good for? I have had a skyguard for a while now, which blows and seriously needs a revamp, but only recently picked up the HEAT cannon. The HEAT cannon just seems to annihilate stuff when compared to the default cannon.
Got the AP cannon and same here. Default is useless at everything. AP is good against armor and at least decent if you can aim against infantry
Why do I keep getting "There was an error completing your request. Please try again" when clicking play on the start up screen?
I know facepunch isn't known for being helpful at all, but please, someone help me with this
There needs to be vehicle entry/exit animations, it's so fucking irritating to have c4 on a lightning, only to have the driver pop out with a pump action and oneshot me. Just atleast put in some fucking delay on the goddamn exit.
I'm pretty sure a while ago someone from the art department said that entry/exit animations weren't going to be added.
Nothing. Literally nothing. One would think that it might be OK for infantry spamming but even the HEAT or HE is better for that.
Actually, I've had more trouble trying to hit infantry with the HEAT than I do with the default Lightning cannon. The default Lightning cannon is the most ideal for killing infantry, once you learn how to use it properly.
It works fully on magriders, lube up those bumholes TR, because you're gonna need it :v:.
BITE THE PILLOW TR. I'M GOING IN CLOAKED. Or something like that.

It's like the Shredder on Libs- everyone assumes it's worthless because of the difficulty of use and poor anti-infantry performance, but upgraded it absolutely devastates vehicles. I can't use it either, but there's a guy in my outfit who has over 500 vehicle kills and an Auraxium medal on it. I'd assume it was shit too if I hadn't seen him casually unmake Prowlers with the thing.

That calculator doesn't have Skyguard :c

Man, Matterson TR seem super butthurt after the prowler HE nerf. They've been trash talking more than ever.
Did they fix the cloaking bug? I tried using a cloaked flash to cloak some air vehicles and it didn't work. I took a flash, cloaked then got out and got into a Mosquito, didn't work and tried the same thing for the Galaxy but it also did not work.
I did it with an outfit member in the VR room but I don't know if it works outside of that.
Not sure if you guys saw the command center this evening (I didn't), but here is concept of a crossbow for the TR. Probably going to be an Infiltrator only weapon.

this has to be a dev troll. right? please say it is. :tinfoil: the vertical limb is beyond dumb, it even blocks the rail.
this has to be a dev troll. right? please say it is. :tinfoil: the vertical limb is beyond dumb, it even blocks the rail.
can't be real, doesn't look like a trac 5.
this has to be a dev troll. right? please say it is. :tinfoil: the vertical limb is beyond dumb, it even blocks the rail.
Yeah, when I paused it I was wondering how the person would aim. Although that's probably the first thing their senior weapon designers pointed out when they got it. Also, laserguided, it looks like they ripped the trigger guard, and pistol grip off of a poor Trac-5
Really. Nobody even points out how utterly ridiculous a crossbow is in this setting? Beyond retarded. Terrible SciFi.
name another long-range weapon that is powerful but completely silent?
A gauss rifle firing tungsten darts. Added bonus: no moving parts and the ability to fire the darts at supersonic speeds if needed. Also acceptable: Laser rifle Dart gun using repulsor tech that powers magriders Dart gun using compressed air

Gauss and laser weapons seem to be their things.
Silent AND supersonic?
Supersonic only will create a crack as the round passes someone. It still keeps your firing position concealed. If, for instance, your opponent is wearing a personal force field and body armor from the distant future, a crossbow bolt traveling below the speed of sound might bounce off like a toy.

A crossbow bolt might be adjusted to just below the state changing threshold so i can pass through the shield without a reaction. If the said shield was perminantly hardened the projected distance around the user would make picking up objects or slipping your finger onto a trigger quite difficult.

Wait if we're getting Xbows, which is awesome by the way, (only thing better than Xbos are revolvers) how is the VS Xbow gonna work?
