Planetside 2 V4 - The roadmap to Basic Features and a Playable Framerate - Games

I'm lucky I guess in that I've had perfect FPS since tech test and it hasn't wavered since lol on a mid/high spec machine

Well, it seemed that the patch fixed a few things for me atleast. The game crashes every 20 minutes now, instead of 10.

log in and the lag is amazing. so i hop over to amerish to hopefully get some small fights so i dont cut people from the mad about fps. i end up killing a sunderer worth almost 1200 xp and a extreme menace who popped out and ran into a ditch worth 700xp. shot an infiltrator off his flash 700xp and blew up the flash with his buddy on it another 700xp+flash xp. then i crashed from startup to crash was about 15 minutes. SOE PLS. a small side note, my suicide increase coincides perfectly with flash volatility.

Whoever is on the receiving end of that will probably just quit the game for life. :v:

I'm assuming it's because it's 1280x720

I wouldnt get 70fps even if my resolution was set to postage stamp.

FPS in busy areas is always 30-40 FPS. No matter if it's extremely low or gorgeous high. Seriously, why? With a 680GTX and I5 3570 with 12GB of ram, this shouldn't happen.

I should try lowering my resolution a bit yeah, seeing how the graphic options change jack shit for me too.

It seems to be more focused on your CPU. And sometimes it doesn't even use that properly. I really wish utility slots like C4 had a HUD icon, so I can tell if it has been shot or not.

I dont get why they added a new HUD indicator for the flash that can only be seen in first person mode. We could already see it there, and I'd like to be able to see my remaining cloak in the third-person view.

I like how this game has it's own Red Barons. Like when you see their name in the air you know you are in for one hell of a dogfight.

Thank goodness for the VR. Skyguard can't hurt tanks anywhere near what it used to.

Is this game every going to get fixed? I want to play it, but I can't because of the atrocious optimization, and even if I could, there's just so much shit that's wrong with it, bugs, glitches, exploits, etc.

I love how the game almost outright refuses to run on 32-bit rigs.
