How do you get good?. Everybody says: "get good". Is that a DLC or something that I'm missing out? How is exactly a "good"? I have to go to the store and ask "Good morning, where can I get a good?" ?

Just use it on Close Quarters or TDM on Nosehair Canals. You'll rack up lots of kills just from hip firing. Obviously your in-game performance all depends on whether or not you believe in the mighty stat god TextQUAKE; who nobody believes in. So yeah you're basically fucked with the famas.

I tried FAMAS with ACOG, VFG and heavy barrel. The only positive thing I have to say is that it runs out of ammo so fast you don't have to use it for that long.

Sometimes, when I'm too lazy to play normal, I play my own "Onslaught Mode". This is what you have to do to play Onslaught Mode in BF3: - Join a Conquest Server. - The amount of tickets represents the difficult, (Default amount: Easy 200%: Normal 500%: Hard Max: Suicidal) - Be sure to be on a good team to have a little advantage. - You have to spawn on the Team's Deployment. - You have to select the "Squad Vehicle", it depends of the amount of players in your squad. 4 Players: Jeep or IFV 3 Players: Jeep, IFV, Tank, DPV 2 Players: Quad bike, Bike, any 1 Player: any - You cannot use Air Vehicles. - This vehicle is your only way to move from Flag to Flag. - Your objective is killing the highest amount of enemies and keeping ALL the points captured. - You cannot leave a flag if there are still enemies around. - Enemy Tanks or Helicopters are "Mid-bosses" during the game. - If you die, you can only spawn on your team deploy or your squad. - If your squad vehicle gets destroyed, you can take a vehicle from the map itself. There are special players or "enemies" in this game mode: * Rev. Assault. A Rambo Assault that revives all the enemy players, even if he is the middle of everything. Usually drops a Medic Kit on death. * Shotgun Recon That's it, a Recon using a Shotgun, deadly. * Massive Suppression Support Rambo Support which panic and shoots randomly on all directions and suppress you to the death. Drops an Ammo Pack on death. * Admin. After killing him, there is a 50% chance to get banned from the server (Defeat) * Extended Range Recon. Recon which never stops shooting at you, even if you are in cover, it attacks from the background of the map which makes him hard or impossible to kill. He prevents you to stay too much time in the same place. And that is how you can play BF3 Onslaught.

M26 mass/dart is quite nice. Having a near silent pocket shotgun is never wrong.
